I simply love this film.
It's got the budget! It's got the director! And the actors where amazing in it too. They were just too low-key actors which let the film get the recognition it deserves!

It followed the Comic book story line, so well. It might of been a long film but I loved every second of it, and I'd happily be able to watch it for a few more hours into that! I just got so involved in the story I forgot how long it goes on for. Right after I watched, I wanted to watch it right after! Confusing, dark, and unpredictable! I simply love this movie.

note that this is my personal opinion and that The Watchmen book/movie are not for everyone so just because i gave this movie a 5/5 doesn't meen you will necessarily love it as much as i do so lets get into the review.

When i heard they were going to make a movie aduptation of one the greatest books/comic books i've ever had the pleasure of reading "Watchmen" i shunned it saying "they will never do the graphic novel justice" because every time i had seen a comic derived movie eg: x-men 1, 2 & 3 they didn't live up to my expectations but this was different this was Watchmen i couldn't miss this movie, everything i loved about the book they put in like Rorshach's narration of his diary for egzample.

things i loved: the casting, it was spot on all the actors play their rolls so well you cant see anyone else playing these awesome characters. the soundtrack was outstanding, the bob dylan intro blew my fkn mind. seeing it in live action.

things i disliked: the nixon impression...thanks for reading

Zack Snyder is fast becoming known as one of the most individual directors in Hollywood, and his take on Watchmen certainly shows that to be true. In this mostly-faithful adaptation, the so-called "superheroes" represent varying philosophies, and they are each presented in a bold, striking visual style that beautifies the film from start to finish. Fans of the graphic novel need not be disappointed, and newcomers will also find something poignant about this movie.

I don't know how anyone could not like this movie, It's fantastic. I bought it the day it came out, The story the music the acting, directing, special effects are excellent. I wish Rorshack would have survived (too Bad) The reinactments of historical events were a nice touch. Nixon was portrayed better than he was in Frost/Nixon. truly one of the great films of all time 5/5

A phenomal peice of work that takes every thing about life but puts in an action and love story. It puts your opinion and belief on spot. It draws you in and makes you really question the same thing. It has this direct idea. The characters are just wonderful. Each of them are suppose to be heros but have that evil villian in them. They live in this world where their wanted but not wanted. Though they some how still accept human life and want to change it even though their not wanted. The plot well drawn out very supsenful. Constantly has this grip urging you to understand. A must watch.
