Phenomenal film!!! As a former high school band musician myself, watching this film brought back so much pride and so many memories. Thanks for posting this documentary, I had a BLAST!!! R.I.P Proff... ;)

AWESOME DOCUMENTARY! I read The Onion's review last year (B+) and waited for it to open, but it never showed up. This film has heart, excitement and triumpyh: it isn't a rehash of "Mr. Holland's Opus." The reviews have been top notch across the board: http://www.mrqe.com/movie_reviews/thunder-soul-m100090886

Wow.. I had a teacher that was amazing.. matter of fact I had several.. But a teacher like this... is just so rare nowadays... I really enjoyed this movie.
