Watch The Monitor: After escaping an abusive husband Anna and her 8 year old son move to a secret location in a giant apartment building. Terrified that her ex-husband will find them she buys a baby monitor to keep in her son's room at all times. But strange noises echo in the baby monitor from elsewhere in the building. As she witnesses the sounds of what she believes is another child being murdered she fears it is her own. Reliving the nightmare she recently escaped Anna will need to figure out what's real and what isn't before she loses her sanity and her child. |

I really like Noomi Rapace, I have seen a lot of her movies. I liked this one, but not as well as some of the others I have seen her in. This had wonderful acting. Worth a watch.

This film shouldn't be listed as horror or thriller.....Drama is where it should be. It was slightly confusing but it was good. And very sad. :(

This movie starts very slow ,it keeps you trying to figure out what's real and what's not just like the character.I was intrigued but left wondering why how when.If you like a psychological mystery this one's for you.

Leaves lots of questions unanswered, however thats the only real criticism I have for it. The acting, direction, plot, and twists are all well executed. Thankfully, if you really think about how everything happened and the order things happened in, you can figure out its confusing end. 6.5/10

Melancholy slow-burner with fabulous performances, BABYCALL wasn't quite what I expected. Very heavy and often unpredictable, more of a cerebral drama with horror overtones. Enjoyed it but be prepared for some delibrate pacing at the start. Sad but well done. 6/10.

Amazing movie. So much going on and your not sure what it has to do with anything then slowly everything melds. Very moving and complex.

The movie makes no sense, but it's good enough and intriguing enough to let that slide. Kinda like Donnie Darko.

I enjoyed this movie. I'm not sure I would classify it as a horror film or thriller. It's more of a psychological drama/ mystery and yes it is very sad but well acted and worth the watch. 3/5

A beautiful story but so so sad. The plot is well played, you wonder all kinds of stuff until the end.

Okay it was a good movie, and I don't know everyone likes to avoid saying the obvious, it is a movie about ghosts and has a twist at the end.
