Wonderful and inspiring movie! The Tuskegee Airman fought Germans and prejudice and won. I hope they will always be remembered.

Wow Gunslinger that was impressive, alot of people seem to read/hear speculation/gossip/rumours then slap it together and regurgitate it out like its fact. But I have to admit that was one of the more over the top bs stories Ive heard. Perhaps engage your brain before typing in the future, itll lessen the chance of looking like such a retard.

Um.... thegunslinger... Method Man would have been 14 years old if Lucas filmed Red Tails ten years before this. It was in his "under-development" list of projects he would like to do back then. BIG difference between a concept and a finished product.... But I will agree that Lucas needs to be commended for funding this on his own. Although I don't think that would have been necessary since other "All Black Cast" movies have been produced and received a rather warm welcome since he thought of doing it back in 1988. But Lucas really doesn't need Hollywood as much as Hollywood needs Lucas, so in the end he did what was best and funded and marketed it himself. I applaud him for giving a big thumb to the eye of Hollywood.

The "2012 remake" was actually filmed 10 years before this film. Spielberg just couldn't get the studios to sign off on it...being a movie about black people and all.

very good film, good action and acting with a really good cast. one of the best war films I've seen based on true events. 5-5

This made red tails look comedic had to watch again on principle. The dude that said method would have been 14 if this was shot 10 years ago. Method isn't no young buck he could'a been in this he was doing WU-Tang in 95. Him and Cuba close in age.

watched this because people were saying this was better than Red Tails (which i watched yesterday and enjoyed) and i have to say i enjoyed this one to and i really wouldnt like to say which i prefered .. both are well worth a watch if your into your ww2/war story esq films
