remember watching this in the cinema and just watched it on tv...nothing has changed, still boring till the last 20mins. one of the best endings to a movie ive ever seen. 2/5

It boasts an interesting story filled with intense characters, beautiful scenery, a fantastic score, good action and a nice romance. So....there is a lot to like about this Michael Mann-directed film. If you are fairly young and only know Michael Mann through his crime movies like "Heat" or "Collateral," please check this earlier film out. It could be Mann's best, which is saying a lot.

One of the BEST movies i have ever seen..... No doubt in my mind that Soundtrack is THE BEST.... it just transcends me to another place emotionally.... highly recommended... just watched it like 100th time.. everything about this movie is absolute brilliance...

this movie gets you emotional, great

it's been a while since i've seen this movie... for some reason I had to see it again... anyway I think the music gave the movie more intensity, but it's still a great movie... it's something about the last 10 mins of the movie that gets you caught up

This is a very epic movie with a great cast and a marvelous soundtrack. However, some of the battle scenes felt quite cheesy and exaggerated. It is also rather difficult to follow. 3.4/5

Amazing film one of my faves. Its action packed with a great plot and its a film you cant just watch once. The soundtrack is beautiful and the cast are brilliant specially daniel day lewis and eric schweig. its a film i would recommend to everyone. Its an easy 10/10

This is one of my favorite movies of all times. Everything comes together for a fantastic action/drama movie. The cinematography and filming locations were breathtaking. The musical score is fantastic. The actors did a believable job. Even though I've seen this movie dozens of times, I still get anxious during the action/fight sequences. This movie is a 'must see'!

incredible movie and very gripping as sides play each other in some brutal battles.this is a real keeper and one of my faves of all time.

Some of the best acting, cinematography, music and sound. Daniel Day Lewis is simply incredible. Suspense, romance and survival in a war torn Colonial America. From beginning to end I was glued to the screen. Every scene was beautifully done and each character was vivid and alive. This is undoubtedly one of my all time favorite movies.
