Watch Greystone Park: In October 2009, the filmmakers went into an abandoned psychiatric hospital to explore the 'haunted' institution, famous for its radical treatment of patients with mental illness. Electroshock, insulin therapy, and lobotomies were commonplace. Once inside, the filmmakers quickly discovered that they were not alone; this story is based on their experiences... |

Meh. Nothing new here, same jump scares, the film was way too dark, very boring until the last few minutes. Sorry, the events in this FILM (not documentary, despite what some viewers may be gullible enough to believe) are not real. I resent the way the film maker uses his own father to try to make a name for himself - is the presence of Stone supposed to impress us? GreySTONE Asylum?? Them all getting STONED at the beginning? Pretentious much? And who the heck is the old lady with the horrible face list - a refugee from the Joan Rivers School of Plastic Surgery??

Not the best video footage found film, didnt really explain what was actually 'haunting' the place, just seemed to me a murderer loose in the building. Not scary, some good parts and they certainly werent professional ghost hunters.

Pile O' shite. If you need this kind of thing then try GRAVE ENCOUNTERS that is at least worth a watch. Skip the first half hour of all these films, that's the best part about streaming!

I didn't care for this movie either. Should have read some of the reviews before spending my time watching this one. There are plenty of dark areas where you can't even get a glimpse of the action so you can't use your imagination to fill in the blanks. Will not reccommend this to friends.

I had planned on watching this movie today and you just saved me a bunch of aggravation! I HATE "found footage" films, no matter how good the story is. Thanks! +5K for you!

i rather liked this movie. i'm a fan of the 'found footage' type stuff; and while this is really not new territory, i don't really see the comparison to session 9.. i won't get into it cause it would have to include spoilers for this movie or that one. in any case, bear thru the first half hour, but once they get in, there are some really creepy parts. a lot of things they don't even notice. as for the person who said 'they never figured out what/who was haunting the place,' it seemed to me that they did.. for me, 7.5/10. this is just my type of movie.

They could have done so much with that story line but unfortunately, they didn't. Hated the whole shaky cam thing, could not see what was going on half the time. Saw it once and that's one time too many. 2/5

Yes, the world just NEEDED another found footage movie. So bad. What an incredible and original idea. Sean Stone? The son of Oliver Stone? Coal mine

I waited a long while for this, too bad though that "Grave encounters" already screened the idea before this one, that said, the idea and story has already been made sort of, it wasn't that bad, imo not the worst "found footage" if you're into this hype, it wasn't scary either, however the thought is scary that it was a REAL existing mental institute which had been shut down, so most interior stuff is probably real, pretty creepy. The filming was waaaay too shaky and you could hardly notice when stuff happened. The ending was a tad off. A weak 3/10. Other great found footage films which i would recommend instead are: The Fourth kind, cloverfield, Noroi, Occult, Grave encounters, REC 1&2,yeah the paranormal activity movies of course. Creepy movies: The Mothman prophecies & Insidious

I actually enjoyed this one very much. A lot of creepy parts and some scare. Better then most.

Was a little creepy, however was slow at the beginning, took a while to get into. Only thrilling part of the movie was the last 20 minutes or so.

Wow...that was bad. I'm not usually critical of horror films, especially found footage films 'cause I really like those. But this was really bad. Too dark as well.

This is one of the better FF movie movies, if you are bored with the plot , sit and count how many ghost and creepy shadows, you would be surprised.

I didn't care for this at all. Too much shouting and every other word a profanity. I don't have a problem with profanity, it's just it doesn't have much meaning when it's repeated 487 times. They threw everything including the kitchen sink into this movie from demons to ghosts to well, you name it. Movie plot just kept jumping around and you couldn't hear anything, so much background noise. You couldn't see any of the things they were seeing, the shaky camera thing, which we are all familiar with. I just wouldn't bother if I were you. That's just one women's opinion.

it was ok i guess for a one time watch not scary/creepy at all and you dont get to see anything really the story was all over the place it was kinda pointless i say go watch grave encounters or episode 50 as their both a lot better then this one. 5/10 and it only gets that because i love the found footage/pov genre

I'm watching the movie tonight and will rate it tomorrow, but I'm curious. I don't see any comments mentioning it so I wonder if no one has noticed, or just not found it worth commenting on. Two of the actors in the movie are Father and Son! Oliver Stone and his son Sean Stone, who both directs this movie and stars in it. Oliver Stone, if you don't know, is a director himself, with awesome movies like JFK, Natural Born Killers, Midnight Express, Platoon, Born on the 4th of July, Scarface, Conan the Barbarian, and U Turn to his credit. Guess he couldn't pass up the opportunity to appear in a movie directed by his Son. Strange that no one seems to notice this or comment on it so I thought I would.
