hmm what do you even say about this?.. i am still confused as to wtf this movie is about!! lol if anyone wants to share their view on this write me, but ill say that i always enjoy Emily's acting and very surprised she went buck for this anyway give it a watch, its worth that i think.

OK seriously. I read your guy's comments first, but then found out that Browning gets full on nude so I figured I could bear through it. NO, it still wasn't enough. It was really, and I can't give you the details without spoiling it, although there really isn't anything to spoil as the movie has no discernible plot, and just seems to be a random series of occurrences day by day in this girl's life. Anyways, the final screaming scene does a very good job of explain how confused and frustrated I was at the end of this movie, although I suspect it will one day be a cult classic.

so this movie is pretty different and judging by the comments i guess you have to be able to really think bout underlying themes and messages to be able to get it. basically, without giving any spoilers, it's about a girl who does a million different jobs and some not-jobs to earn money, for rent and what not. i assume she's not making much so she joins up this company? that does various things to hire out women/partially nude women/fully nude women for events or just for 'unspoken desires' like the description says. so it builds up to her being this sleeping beauty, literally, who unconsciously plays into the 'unspoken desires' of the men who pay the company for it. it's not a really obvious plot or a really obvious message or meaning to the movie. it's kind of underlying and left up to interpretation. i thought as a film it was very artistic and well done. now if this was something that actually occurred i might be disturbed, but i liked it as film. i get what the director was trying to do.

I did not see the beauty in this movie , but it did make me sleep ....

I thought this movie was courageous in its vision, and raw. A metaphor and meditation on how beauty is used and abused in our world, unprotected, everything beautiful reduced to naught but a price tag.(It's a social statement, people). The director chose to let the story breath in the most brutal moments, to not look away, a la Cronenberg. (Much more effective than a zillion-cuts hand-held). Shot choices are artful. Storyline an original exploration. Found myself admiring the actors for their bravery. Not for the action flick devotee, I suppose. Fans of the strange-and-beautiful-hardcore dramas will appreciate.

Only one word for this... WTF! Didn't understand it at all, it was a movie without a plot without a reason to be exact.

i couldn't have said it any better. i myself thought it was going to be a fairy tale but turned into a strange/weird/confusing movie. it made no sense as well, but yes, very misleading movie.

This film really depends on the person watching it. Before I watched it, I read all of the reviews and the constant theme was, "It sucks!" I'm the type of person that if someone tells me not to do something, I do it anyways. In this case, I was happy I did. When watching this movie, don't expect a thrill or excitement. It is merely visual poetry. If you hated poetry in school, I am pretty sure you will hate this movie. I loved it but I also love poetry, i.e. the reason I liked it so much.

We don't have to watch movies like this to understand that there are sick ppl out there, i understood the concept, but this is by far one of the worst movies i've seen, SO WEIRD and DEPRESSIVE, there are no barriers here at all. It's like "The Picture of Dorian Gray" but add some more psycho erotic behaviour to it. DON'T WATCH IT, I wish i could travel back in time to warn myself not to watch it!!! 0/10. Change of title "Sleeping Psycho".

This is a movie for people who really want to sit down and try to understand what they're watching. If you watch this just because there are nude women, you're probably not going to be very interested in the story or whats going on.

This movie was ok, I guess. I understand the premise and the movie, but my was this movie lacking in things. 3/5 Stars. And 3 stars because the movie kept in interested.

I'm the queen of obscure, and even I didn't get it. I kept waiting for something to happen, and nothing ever did. What was the clinic all about? I'm not sure except maybe she got paid for an experiment they were conducting? I think it was a camera on the end of the tube. Very strange movie....I would not waste $1 on this film. So glad I saw it for free!!!

Just watched it and it was great but try to read my reply to understand the point of the movie which is mainly psychological of the self. Surprinsingly ppl find no plot, no evolution but there is. It is purely psychology...good luck.

Great movie...if you are able to understand the point. What I understood is that the director wanted to expose the perversion of the world we leaving in. It is in fact true that the most perverted are the elders in an attempt to restore youth via sexual perversion. Some are actually never able to recover it and end up into atrocious act such paedophilia, voyeurism, etc... The Girl on her side as well as her boss are caught into this world and the boss herself due to the powerful clients rich and all is at risk of exposure and losing her wealth acquired through the years, so she is bound to meet their sickest desires. The girl however started her own destruction years ago (watch movie to understand why). The end is that girl did not realise what was going on until the end where she almost died. She went on purchase a camcorder in a vain attempt to know what is done to her while asleep. The man wanted to die next to her beauty cause he had no reason to leave anymore having lost his lover and knowing he would never regain her via her or actions. However, Lucie burning the 100 dollars note is symbolic but I leave this to your own interpretations. every scene and dialogue and gesture counts to understand movies of this genre. Great psychological thriller. 8.5/10

Aside from non-stop nude scenes of Emily Browning, I have no idea why I just sat through this entire movie, lol. It made no sense at all and turned a children's fairytale into a morbid adult porno. Very strange movie but she was really hot, lol.
