Because 1 or more out of every 10 people of the world's population is gay, and that doesn't include the ones who are too much of a wuss to admit it. It's the 21st century not medieval times, ave you been living under a rock?? Asking why there are gays on television (and as offense these days) as asking why there are black or Hispanic people on TV. We are all born they way we are and God doesn't make mistakes. Also why do you think they repealed "don't ask don't tell" for the US military? Because except for insecure or wacko religious types NO ONE CARES. If no one is forcing you to be gay why do you care who someone chooses to love? It's none of anyone's business. If it were reversed would you like feeling the need to justify your love life publicly? Nobody wants to hear about that either. Almost every show now has gay characters because it is how it is in real life. Gays are the most gentle, kind, and caring, non-violent social group and yet people still feel the need to bash their lifestyle. Maybe you should be more tolerant- and statistically if you haven't met a gay person it means you are one. :-) And like all the world renowned psychiatrists say, the things we hate in others are actually what we hate about ourselves... Live and let live, Jeez. Just be glad, if you are a guy, that because of gays you have that many more women to date. You'd think guys would thankful!

Really getting into this show. I admit I started watching this because of Elisha Cuthbert, but the whole cast are quite funny & convincing. Hope it stays around for a while.
