7/10. Give it a go to round out the trilogy. That being said, I saw this movie when I was younger and really didn't give it much of a chance. It wasn't as bad as I originally thought. The story line was well thought-out and the ending was decent. I do believe the movie would have been better received had it not been released so many years later and (in a sense) wasn't so modernized. And Sophia Coppola had absolutely no right to be in this movie lol what a horrible actress!!

Francis Ford Coppla delievered a great trilogy in the history of cinema (ala, Star Wars by George Lucas). 10/10

The Godfather movies are all amazing, but this one was just alright. Definetly not as good as the first one or the second one. The acting was still good. I would say there was more action in this one. Still this is worth seeing.

Mary Is annoying and a distraction.

Just rewatched for the 2nd time. An underrated classic. I finally think I understand who kills who and why in the final, operatic, act (not the easiest film to follow in that way), but I've always loved the total effect. Sophia Coppola's character is for me the heart of the film. Critics panned her performance [accusations of nepotism were unjust: she only stepped in after half a dozen actresses fell through, incl. Julia Roberts and Winona Ryder (even Madonna - wtf?)]. Sure, the performance is unlaboured, even naive, - maybe she ISN't really an actress - but she's exactly right in the role [seriously: Julia Roberts? Are you kidding?]. It's what makes the finale so affecting. She's LUMINOUS.

A great ending to one of the best classic series made.. Outstanding storyline and cast..A must see finish..Gave this movie 10/10..Enjoy!!!

I love this film despite Sofia Coppola.
