if your looking for a bare bone story with meaningless action and repetitive close getaway scenes then this is it right here, not my cup of tea, nice concept but has very little depth and is more about the swinging hero action scenes than the story, its basically mad max on water

Very good movie. One of the best post apocalyptic I've ever seen. This one actually have SOME sort of realism in it. No zombies or viruses here! 7.5/10

I really did not like this film. I expected more from it and from Kevin Costner as he is an excellent actor. I found it boring and in parts silly. I would not recommend it 0/10

I remember when this movie first came out, it was the most expensive to be made at the time. And in america it was one of the biggest failures, and only the international sales saved it. But its definately a movie that will be remembered overtime.
