if your looking for a bare bone story with meaningless action and repetitive close getaway scenes then this is it right here, not my cup of tea, nice concept but has very little depth and is more about the swinging hero action scenes than the story, its basically mad max on water

I love Kevin and most of his films, but this is crap!! Seriously! 2/10 (for a one or two funny scenes)

This movie was a total flop in cinemas, unfortunately it was released the same week as Jurrasic Park and everyone went to see that instead, However i think it was awesome and didnt get half the credit it deserved. A big budget, great stars like dennis hopper and jeanne tripplehorn, and a great idea. I loved it 9/10.

Long but very entertaing film, Costner was trying to strike gold again like Dances with wolves.. in its own way this film did..non stop action.. one sceen thou bothered me.the submarine.. now why would that sunk on the bottom of the ocean yet the valdeas is still plugging along?

I've seen this movie a trillion times, I've been watching it eversince I was a kid me and my family loves it. I love it, it's a wonderful movie to watch to feel the fantasy or any other subject of the world for example what would you do to survive and what would you do to save a child's life and person's life if you and them were lost or trapped in a waterworld or other trying to find dry land? this movie has captured many tears and hearts. The entire cast did great and God bless the movie forever.
