I'll never understand why the Academy didn't give Al Pacino the best actor award. He was a brilliant, sexy villain. De Niro was great as well. Poor Fredo. 5/5

Amazing movie. I thought it was just as good as the first one. The acting is amazing, and so is the storyline. Best gangster movie. This is a must see.

when i saw that this was a 3 hour sequel, i was skeptical to say the least. but mario puzo's genius shines through in godfather part ii, which is every bit as good as the first one, and i feel like a fool for ever doubting it. the original godfather, marlon brando, is surely missed in this film, but pacino and de niro are superb in their own right, making brando's absence far more forgivable. a prequel and sequel in one, godfather part ii is undoubtedly one of the greatest sequels of all-time. 9/10.

If one says,"It is the best of Al Pacino, upto what he can perform", then it is not an exaggerartion. But indeed, Best of the Best.

The best sequel of all time. I actually love this just as much as I love the first. The flashback scenes of young Vito Corleone give you a deeper understanding as to why he became involved in 'la cosa nostra.' The cinematography blows my mind. The character development delves even deeper and we become more immersed in the world of The Corleones.

Al Pacino and Robert De Niro are just amazing! This is my favorite one out of the trilogy, I just love the era these movies are based in and the natural all around feel to the movie. 7.3/10 John Cazale R.I.P. I watched this and Once Upon A Time In America for the first time and I watched them both on the same day ha:) I wish Francis Ford Coppola did some more movies but I have got to say I didn't like the third one:/ I love the story to this one and I love the way we get to see how Michael Corleone has changed since he gained power of the family:D I also feel like this one has a better pace than the other two movies, plus it has a great soundtrack. Even though De Niro's dialogue was nearly all Sicilian I still loved that part of the movie:DD

I'd give the nudge to the Godfather part I being a better movie, but seriously, not by much. their both 10 star movies.

Great movie!! As we find out about young Vito's life and how he came to be so respected by everyone, we also find out what motivates Michael. This is my favorite of the three. The only thing I would have done differently is the situation with Fredo. He should have lived, hell, he was at a point where he was like a nanny to Anthony and he, not being as smart as Michael, was used as a fool by Hyman Roth, as were many others. Going onto the third installment, more character development is expected from Michael, his children as well as Sonny's and Connie's. Awesome film and series!! 10/10
