Watch I Love You Phillip Morris: Steven Russell is happily married to Debbie, and a member of the local police force when a car accident provokes a dramatic reassessment of his life. i got bored after an hour. was like a continuous boring loop. i wouldn't agree with a comment below that if your straight/gay its for everyone because its not. i felt my stomach reachin a coupla times. not my cup of tea this one. if i was a well known actor, i dont care how many millions i could earn - i wouldnt snog/be intimate with a fellow male...full stop. 0/10.

Jim Carey is an excellent actor, sure he has his silly movies, but when he wants he can really ACT! McGregor is great as well. a good film overall.

Jim Carrey's best film along with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It had a lot of comedic elements to it but it was the kind of comedy I prefer not like the stuff he gets up to in Ace Ventura.

Good movie. Enjoyable. The title and it starting w/him in bed- thought it was an anti-smoking movie. But no...not at all. If you are completely homophobic you may not be able to get into it. Comedy with a mixture of drama. Overall quite enjoyable.

If you like watching a good quality/awesome movie here it is.Comedy,Drama,Romance is my faveorite genre mix and I Love You Phillip Morris is excactly that.

i wasnt really expecting drama, and Jim Carrey and Ewan McGRegor to be such awesome actors, but it is and they are. i was expecting comedy, maybe it really was but it wasnt funny to me, i mean, i kindda took it seriously XP anyways.. Steven was a reallly something.. i mean he was interesting, and kinndda though it pains me to say this romantic, i mean he lied and cheated but he was doing it for Phil, which wasnt really right, and whenever he does something i dont really know if im rooting for him or against it but whenever he does something i just feel the wrongness and that something bad is gonna happen to him which did.. and what a great twist it was! anyway, i dont want to drag this.. it was a good movie! in fact my first gay flick.. 8.5/10

So if you watch a movie with a straight couple, is there often too much straightness for you as well? You know, with all the gratuitous sex scenes and objectification that we non-straight people are forced to sit through if we want to watch almost any major movie made in the last 100 years in america? Because of course, its ok if people like you do it, but not other people? Ever have a problem with too people of color in films too? Or when they are having sex or being in love? Or do you just draw the line at orientation? People who aren't straight have learned to tolerate films that involve straight couples, so why is it still ok for straight people to dislike a movie just because of gay content?

The movie is funny and enjoyable, but it makes me wonder how loosely this was based on real events. Carrey is in top form, McGregor is good and believable as well.

My husband has not seen this movie yet but from a women's point of view i thought being the whole gay thing i would not like it either but seeing past that it was really a very well made movie and keep my interest from beginning to end.. i loved it, was very impressed with the main characters.It shows you what love can do whoever its between. i give it a 9/10
