The Sentinel: A fashion model moves into a house inhabited (on the top floor) by a blind priest. She begins having strange physical problems, has trouble sleeping at night, and has some nasty flashbacks of her attempted suicide. She complains to the real estate agent of the noise caused by her strange neighbors, but finds out that the house is only occupied by the priest and herself, and ultimately discovers that she has been put in the house for a reason. |

What can't I say about this horror classic? It has everything to make a viewer feel creeped out and confused... I can't believe it was made in the 70's (except for the music, which could actually be seen as 'retro'). It's one of the best of the best. Like at least one other viewer has already stated, it builds and builds ... definitely a must see. (You gotta love Burgess Meredith!) Cheers. :)

A little slow and confusing at first, but lead up to one of the eeriest, and most frightening endings to any horror movie to date great castvwith actors who now famous (chris walken ;)) I recommend this movie

Holy Smokes! that was creepy... I loved this movie though. It was way better than I expected it to be. I give it a 10/10!

Great horror classic..Good storyline,,and cast.. This movie is creepy as hell,,once you get into it.. Thos demons toward the ending were really gross.. Good horror movie pick.. Gave this movie 8/10.. Enjoy!!

Cristina Raines and Chris Sarandon head up an allstar cast in this eerie horror classic,look out for all the young actors who have now made it famous and never move into a house if they tell you a blind priest lives upstairs,6/10.

Wow, still works after all these years. Shows you what a great story and acting can evoke in us. Stellar cast, like jedidan mentioned, a who's who of actors famous at the time and yet to come.
