Cache: In Paris, Georges Laurent is a famous host of a literary talk show on TV, who lives in a comfortable house with his wife Anne and their teenager son Pierrot. When Georges and Anne receives videotapes of surveillance of their private life and weird and gore childlike drawings, they go to the police, but they do not get any protection since there is not a clear menace to the Laurent family. When Georges follows a clue in one of the tapes that shows his childhood home, he meets his former adopted brother, the Algerian Majid and accuses him of sending the tapes. Meanwhile, through glimpses of Georges' nightmares, his lies due to his jealous relationship with his foster brother are disclosed.

This movie was slooow in the beginning and slooow in the middle and died an unremarkable death. So if your not a genius or want to get your mind blown don't watch this load of crap. I've felt more tension and suspense in an old folks home. Do yourself a favor and do anything else for 2 hours but watch this movie. Now there I said it, somebody had to say it...could you feel the tension in my mood?

Please note, the geniusness of this movie lies in not what you see per say but what meaning you get from what you see. It is a very critical film and emphasis must be put on the reason for creating the film as opposed to the plot and story line. I hope it is a s mind-blowing for everyone else.

This movie was mind blowing, it literally struck me unexpectedly and had me covering my eyes in one scene, which no other movie has ever being able to do to me, and I am a film junkie. This is not a movie, it is an experience. It's engaging and make you feel like you are in the movie with the characters, or at the least, it makes you feel as if you have an active role in what is happening. Like if your desire to know more about the characters is what is driving the actions. I dont get the low rating on this site, I can only assume it is given by people who are used to consume movies for the sake of entertainment. This is a must "experience" for any serious film buff.

It's hard to pick a favourite Haneke film. This is another exploration of violence and its role in society as well as its dark little corner in the human soul, it's a strange experience to watch Cache. It'll probably break something inside you, but that's all for the best.

A multi-layered, enigmatic film, "Cache" is about a family that becomes aware it is being watched. In Hidden, nothing is as it seems. Questions are being posed and no real answers given; keeping you in a constant state of suspense. It is all very cleverly done. Everyone is guilty at some level in this Hitchcockian psychological thriller.

What an incredibly engaging and scary film?! You can read all the erudite and detailed reviews of it on IMDB (especially Roger Ebert's review) but all I want to note here is that I got the greatest cinematic shock of my life since "The Wax Museum" in this film. I literally gasped and felt my heart race with real fear: you'll see for yourself if you watch the film and pay close attention to the tension in the moods of all the characters. Good luck: I was entertained 5/5 by this one!

This movie started off with a great premise of being a psychological thriller but there it fell short of greatness. It has a long drawn out plot that showed some signs of promise but turned out to be nothing much. THere were some shocking parts in the movie but otherwise, it turned out to be placid overall.
