i wasn't sure about this movie but i gave it a chance and it turned out to be worth the watch, all the acting was very well done and Gwyneth brought her all and it showed with every scene she did, it was heartfelt and well written, i felt the truth behind this movie very real and happening quite a bit in that business, if your a fan of country music you will love the songs, enjoy! 4/5

I am a huge country fan and usually love any movie with Tim in it, however this wasn't any where as near as good as I had expected. Love all the songs from it especially by Beau though.

This movie(like "Crazy Heart") is not about the songs but about the performers and how sometimes the road is long and hard. It can make you think about how you might act if you had everything and yet still had nothing. It's worth a watch.

Amazing movie! I loved it. It had wonderful acting and great singing. Also this was very entertaining. I loved the storyline, it was so sad and touching. Also very intense. This really surprised me with how good it was. Definetly worth seeing.

i liked it and didnt like it, then liked it again... there were strange parts that didnt settle well with me. it was like 2 movies mashed into one almost... if it were about Bo and Chiles only it would have been excellent. if it had of been about Kelly and James only it would have been excellent... overall it was alright, held my attention the whole way throught. and i liked the very very end a lot. Music was excellent tho! and im not even into country music. i will get the soundtrack. 7/10

I liked this movie alot. It was worth the wait to see it. I liked the ending and how they didn't go for the obvious happy ending. I appreciate that every now and again.

Another one of those films where you don't expect much and then you get whammied because it turns out to be pretty damn amazing. The entire cast did such an amazing job, and the story line with all it's drama and slight humor blending together perfectly. You are in for a real treat.

Who would have known the guy from tron's voice was so awesome. I already knew about gwen p since duets. But garrett was a nice superise.

Decent little movie. I wasn't sure what to expect going into it, but they really did a great job (better than Crazy Heart, anyway, which was a little bit of a let down for me). Overall, well done: 7/10.

I didn't mention that because I had caused myself some sound issues earlier, but I totally agree with you. I tried after I figured out what I'd done and still couldn't hear anything.

Really good movie. I will watch it again. I had to start it over after watching the ending twice of course and then the song credits. I missed Alana Grace who played Chiles friend. She had a few seconds of a part, but I love her music. After also seeing that Gwyneth Paltrow sang all of her songs, I say she chose to act. She could've had a hell of a singing career, country for sure. I've always liked her but wow. And Garrett Hedlund, Bo, sang most all of his. This is a really great movie for country music fans. It amazes me how different Tim McGraw can look in the movies compared to real life. It is definitely a favorite and I give it a 5/5.

What a great performance from Gwyneth Paltrow! I'm really starting to pay attention to Leighton Meester too. Great job. Tim McGraw and Bo did well too. I really liked the music and how sad the ending. I loved it!! 5/5
