The first black and white movie I have ever watched, but nowhere near the book! I guess it’s hard to represent 750 pages in 2 hours, but the story was often inaccurate. Very interesting parts of the book were omitted and others completely changed. For all you fans of the Fountainhead, if 750 pages is hard for you to go through, you might try the audiobook – about 30 hours of audio. Indeed, Ayn Rand’s message is not entirely applicable today (after all the world has changed in the last 70 years), but still a man can get a blast of inspiration from her writing.

Watched this the other day, for the 4th or 5th time it really is a classic of a movie, better than Citizen Kane in my opinion! A true classic 5/5 Enjoy the flick! ;)
