it was just plain bad, the story jumps around to much too make sense and it's boring, the story line is so poor

Madonna did a very good job on this movie!! I have been wanting to watch this for some time, and it didn't dissapoint me at all. It was beautifully filmed, and I really enjoyed all the music and the costumes were great. I think the plot was very good, and easy to follow, going to different time periods didn't confuse me at all. The acting was good. I saw nothing wrong with this movie. I think that it is defiently worth watching.

I couldn't watch and I am a huge history fan. This was over the top pretentious. I turned it off after half an hour. I was so excited for this when she was filming too...

I agree with the previous reviewer that the time jumps muddle the movie but it's still worth a look. The cinematography is beautiful and though WE doesn't bring anything groundbreaking to the table, if you're interested in Wallis and Edward or just like bittersweet romances, you might enjoy this.

It was a good movie. The story was good, although the girl in the present time was a little weird.

As a interesting sidenote: I found out that I own something of Wallis Simpson's... a music box, given to her by some guy called 'jimmie' or 'winnie' (can't quite make out the inscription) in 1920.

It really wasn't horrible at all! I'm glad I gave it a chance- I liked the second half of the movie better than the first, which did seem to drag a bit. The costumes were lovely, and the script and acting were okay. I've seen much movies worse than this one and they have much better reviews. 3 stars from me.

I just watched a little of this and do not care for it. I am not really into romance movies, but maybe I will give it another try later. Not too crazy about Madonna, like her older music.
