I loved this movie :) Great dramatic adventure

wow that wasreally good keeps you fuessing the whole way through very emotional towards the end...i was in tears i think if they had given an explinaton at the end it may have made it a little better but still a very good film just what i needed

Very possible future. All insane humanity is heading to this. High quantity of garbage and chemicals destroys our planet's ecosystem. There will be a price for this spoiled lifestyle.

The kid is really annoying with the papa thing, acting like a little baby all the times, great film though. Indeed a great plot. It is a must watch for who likes post apocalyptic films.

One of the most depressing movies I ever seen. I don't know what to say...do I like it? do I hate it? I think it's both. Hard to watch but the acting was superb. I would expect nothing less from Theron and Mortensen. My husband and I both felt like just putting a gun to our heads after watching (yes, it's that sad) but it is nevertheless a fantastic movie. You'll just have to watch it to understand.

A post-apocalyptic hobowar with a poignant streak. The slow pace for the sake of realism seems like a reasonable trade-off but the addition of the sad, incomparably innocent boy detracted from what may have been an interesting and possibly thought provoking film. 3/5

Ok, I'll admit they could have at least specified what mega-cataclysm had taken place! But so many people have said this movie has no plot/storyline and I just have to disagree. A young boy and his Dad struggle to survive post-toastie, just hoping to chill on a warm coastline! Xlnt movie!!!!

Marie you are a pure spirit. Fight the NWO and live. Jones is awesome...ok so the movie is a little grey and slow moving but theres lots about canabalism and starvation as they try to recreate what some believe is coming soon in one way or the other. i didn't particularly enjoy this film or the scary stuff but i found prophetic meaning in it the makes me want to go buy a ton of food and hide it.

such a sad movie..but i hate that in the end is no sign of life somewhere..8/10

Its a great movie, defiantly worth the watch... And the book is amazing as well. I recommend the book over the movie. The biggest problem I had with the movie is the kid. In the novel the boy is much younger then the actor they got to play him. Because, he was so much younger in the novel I didn't mind how utterly useless and annoying he was. But since the kid in the movie is at least 4 year older he bugged the hell out of me. Like you live in a post apocalyptic wasteland STOP BEING SUCH A pussaY! He is like 12 or 13 why is he still carrying around a stuffed animal???? If i was his father I would have ditched him way long ago.

The coincidence of him being found by a nice man right after his father died... im not going to lie, kinda pisses me off.

amazing movie!! absolutely loved it. very sad though!! and the ending wasnt what i would have rathered happened... but i was a really good movie worth watching for sure!!!

That movie was sad, realistic and had a very strong story. The bond between the father and son made the movie, It really makes you think how good we have it.
