Ok, in my opinion they should have left it at the first one as this one really didn't live up to the origional concept. Even the first one relied soley on shock value and once you got over that the film had very little to make it a solid piece.

This was worse then the first one with an extremely slow pace and dull style of shooting that lost my interest quickly. The only thing I did find moderately interesting was the main character who did do a good job at filling the shoes of the previous psycho. But the violence was almost silly and the entire experience, including the characters lacked depth. I was hoping they would do something interesting with the storyline but unfortunately it looks like they just tried to cash in on the first film.

Too bad because with some refinement they could have gotten a solid sequal out of it that may have even strengthened the first movie

The movie starts out with the ending of the first human centipede, and then quickly throws you on a loop as the audience, as you relize the first movie was actually just a movie. A lonely, depraved parking lot night watchman is completely fixated on fabricating his own human centipede, and inspired from the movie, does just that, only with 12 people.

This was freakin' awesome. I laughed my ass off. And I'm going to buy it uncut when it comes out. For everyone saying it was really sick, perverse, whatever - yeah, that's the point - it's the Human Centipede 2, not cupcakes. If you keep in mind that *it's not real* it's hilarious. Also - I read a lot of reviews before being able to watch this or find it anywhere, and I completely disagree that there is no plotline and just violence. I thought that Martin was a sympathetic character... abused his entire life, told it was his fault, raped by his father and therapist - and there were definite elements of the film where his rage came through about this, and it was shown that he did not want to hurt children (as he was hurt as a child)through his actions. The centipede fixation well yeah that's the fun part... I found the movie engaging after the first half which is a bit repetitive. I actually didn't like the first movie at all, I thought it was really badly acted and boring. This made me like the series a lot more and look forward to 3. Unfortunately while it's a cool inclusion, they bring back one of the bad actresses from the first film and her acting is equally bad in this. Also a few stupid lines. But far far above the first film. This is the *cut* version.
