Disturbing yet frighteningly real. This movie was a good portrayal of how these sick twisted minds get a hold of young impressionable children. Great movie

Good movie thats for sure. Acting was good, amazing even in the case of the girl. Gotta say didn't like seeing Clive Owen cry. Overall it's pretty realistic and true to a real life situation I'd imagine. Also I'm surprised to see David Schwimmer was the director!!

Every parent should watch this movie and also show it in schools since there's a lot of sick twisted demented mentally disturbed pervs out there, and creepy enough it could be anyone even YOU...just kidding, jokes aside. Very disturbing film but not far from the truth unfortunately, this is the tough reality and shows there is something wrong with our society and the downfall of a good strong familystructure. Sensitive viewers beware

Great movie, yeah it could have come with a better ending like in fairy tales, like you would get in most movies. I think the ending was great, it was sending a message.

I thought this was a really great movie! I love movies where they focus on the psychology of sensitive and extreme situations. Unlike many others, I loved the ending. Way to go David Schwimmer!

People don't understand reality, of course parents should be more cautious about what their children do, but beating them is wrong. I though the actor who played the girl in this film did a very good job at portraying how a real victim of such a crime would react, of course people who experiance this sort of crime believe that nothing was wrong, they were tricked! Get a grip people.

Damn! WTF! That girl had SOME SERIOUS issues!LOL What a nasty temper too! Overall, pretty good movie! apart from seeing the girl defending that "thing" and of course the STUPID ASS ENDING(which was atrocious)!... but it is how it is. so 7/10 from me.

I cried like a baby at the ending of this movie. Those with a problem with the ending are crazy, it was very effective.
