Really good but sad realistic movie and a great cast. I can't say why without a spoiler but the way this film ended, I would like to see a sequel 4/5

The film does a good job of showing the father's varied emotions, from rage at his daughter's rapist, through shock at how completely she was 'groomed,' to devastation at feeling that he has failed by not being able to protect her.

I watched this show merely for the purpose of educating myself since the comments held it so highly but I didn't learn anything that I hadn't known before. In all honesty, I think this film's message and warning is too little too late. Many girls probably experienced what Annie did or similar situations with the advent of internet chat networks but now I believe (or at least I'd hope) that girls know better than this (with the amount of knowledge of these cases that is shared with the public through the media, schools, etc. it would be hard to imagine that most of us don't). 3/5

This was scarier than any horror movie. This was more heartbreaking than any film I have seen. It was so real and so frightening that I find it hard to shake it off. The acting and the quality were ordinary and nothing to write home about but the story, the concept behind the film were just too realistic. Everyone of us is under the risk of going through something like that or witnessing it. I wonder what the end of the story is since we are left guessing but the final scene, with the aggressors cold eyes staring right into the camera, suggest that the events that happened in the story will keep happening over and over again... what a scary world we live in

This movie is defo worth a watch and like someone else said should definitely been watched in school to make children aware of what is out there. Very interesting and its not too graphic it sticks to telling the story of the families struggle to get past what happened instead of just focusing on the event.

i have to say, i don't get all the negative hooplah that surrounded the release of this movie. they were going to give it a NC-17? it was very tame. i have seen racier things on Two and A Half Men. that being said, it was a good film. very serious subject matter. good performances, a couple of scenes that really had me feeling their emotion. for me, the ending was a little 'meh,' but i still would recommend.

Strangely, but I liked this movie a lot. Surprisingly interesting. In some moments resembled "The Lovely Bones". 8/10

To every parent that allows an underage child to have a computer in their room you need to watch this movie and then move the computer to a very public area of the house. One that at any time you can see the screen and then be involved ritually day to day with checking while they are on line. There will always be these type of sick people in the world but at least you can curb the chances of them being one on one with your child. Would recommend parents sit with their kids and watch this movie, while you are at it maybe a few episodes of Predator w/ Dateline. You can never do enough to protect kids today.

I liked it a lot.. every teenager should watch this, not everyone is who they say they are on the net, and this situation is happening way too much !!! A BIG thumbs up just for the warning it should give to everyone x

If you know of any young girls that chat with strangers, you may want to show them this. ;) It's pretty creepy, but I think it's a good movie. 3.5/5

I went in thinking it would be a standard-issue, after-school special type of movie that would be most popular when it airs on Lifetime. To be honest I saw David Schwimmer was involved and let my head devalue the film before it even started. Boy was I wrong. I'm sure a lot of you may hesitate to go see it because you are thinking the same thing. YOU NEED TO SEE THIS MOVIE. It's real. It's damn real. The acting across the board is phenomenal. The girl playing Annie (Liana Liberato) in the movie is relatively new on the scene, but she nails it. Perfect range of up and down emotions. I know a lot of you have seen To Catch a Predator. That show seems scripted and fake when compared to this film. Trust gives you an inside view of what something like this can do not only to a victim but also to the victim's family. Clive Owen and Catherine Keener are spot-on and deliver outstanding performances. I had so many feelings during that movie, I cried, I laughed and I was VERY amazed. Scary good is the best way I can describe this movie. You'll walk away knowing you just saw something important and you'll immediately want to take steps to make sure it doesn't happen to you. The only problem with this film is it's certification. Rating it R means that the people who should be watching it can't. IMHO this film should be given to every high/secondary school worldwide as Schindler's List was. Please see this. Tell your friend to go see it. (10/10)

Well, that has to be the saddest damn movie I've seen in a long time. Worth the watch... yeah. Total downer though. And the end is a bit overkill because, I mean, you get the point of the film 20mins in. But well done. Creepy.

I don't have a daughter, but my brother does. I'll be sending him an email telling him to watch this movie as well as a movie called Megan is missing. Both deal with internet predators and I think that if she saw either of these, she might realize what can happen.

This was a very intense movie about the reality of internet predators. Very emotional and disturbing. I didn't like the ending but it's a good point they were getting across. There's a jolly fine ole' tune by Combat 84 called "Rapist" that comes to mind after watching this one.

Good movie thats for sure. Acting was good, amazing even in the case of the girl. Gotta say didn't like seeing Clive Owen cry. Overall it's pretty realistic and true to a real life situation I'd imagine. Also I'm surprised to see David Schwimmer was the director!!

such a disturbing film, and as other's have said above a must watch for all parents and young teens, I am so glad my 'children ' are older now, but I did go through the worry of any evil sick person harming them!!! It is difficult to watch what your young teens are doing 24/7 but I urge any parent to not let their children have their laptops etc in their bedrooms! What a sick society we live in today, makes me shudder!!
