This is an ok monster movie. Although not made for or by the sifi channel, it fits very nicely with that type of movies. IMO it doesn't rate the amount of praise everyone is giving it, however if you like B type monster movies, you will enjoy this one.(I did) I'm giving it 5/10

for some strange reason i just kept thinking of clowns looking at this likable so call Sci-Fi flick, don't ask me why I enjoyed it, was tickled by it, dispite the fact that it was stupid yet very enjoyable, in other words you're looking for the drastic yet in return you get amused by these clowns, good flick:C. P.S. well I can give the FX crew a litttle credit the creature was interesting.

Beautiful scenery and hysterically funny dialougue highlight this sci/fi-creature feature. A small Irish town is over run by squid like monsters and it is up to the new girl and drunk sherrif to save the day. This is a very well done movie and the actors are extremely likable and all of the characters are sassy with smart mouths and wit. So the writting comes across as top notch. The plot is simple and the the direction is right on point. What a terrific horror movie. I can definately watch this more than once. "Wait we are not ready yet" says the female lead to the monster. Simply priceless.lol......

Not bad at all. I enjoyed the story of an alien that would get hurt because of our alcohol blood level! The acting wasnt bad, they did a pretty good job at pretending to be drunk. The two leads had some pretty good chemistry between each other. And the supporting cast was also fantastic. It was a little difficult to understand them sometimes, but once you tune into in it gets easier to understand their accents. The pacing was a little off. It felt like it slowed down to much in the middle, not to mention how long it took them to get things rolling. The cinematography was great, I enjoyed the beautiful shots of the location and the bar/hotel was a pretty good looking set. Over all a funny and quirky film. You should def give it chance, you might be surprised. A solid 8/10 for me.

This was kinda funny and well done for a invasion movie with a twist and a few drinks. Any man that watches this will have a valid excuse for getting hammered every single day.

This is a lovely british horror / comedy movie. A thoroughly enjoyable movie which is heartily recommended. And it has Richard Coyle, already a cult actor in GB. Don't foget a pint of beer of your choice...

Brilliant little Irish comedy/horror film writin by Keven Lahane. Great acting by an emsamble of relativly unknown Irish actors. Richard Coyle joins the ranks of the very few non-Irish actors to pull off an authentic accent. Feckin hillarious and defo worth a watch 5/5. (The old drunk fisherman deserves an oscar, brilliant!!).

A great little horror/comedy from the Irish,it's really refreshing to see alcohol portrayed in a positive light for a change and it leads to some very funny situations,7/10.

This was great. Kinda like Tremors combined with Sean of the dead. Basis of the story is typical of this kind of movie, but takes it into a fun direction as only Irish would. One scene even reminds me of Gremlins a little. Very cool movie once it gets rolling, great alien monsters also.

There is NOTHING ignorant about my comment. I have the highest regard for film makers in the UK, AND I love the humor of the Brits AND the IRISH.

Fecking Brilliant ... only the Brits could have pulled this off. Hilarious movie, I laughed and laughed and laughed. Of course, I love British humor anyway. 5/5

Really enjoyed this movie which I am almost certain was filmed up the road from me in Moville. Excellent mix of creature effects and Irish stereotyping (although a lot of us do drink an awful lot) make this the perfect 'brain at the door' kind of show. 9/10
