what a load of shit cheap movie cheesy n bad acting 2/10

i hve to admit - too many explosions and not enough heart like from the original. remakes will never measure up but its ok as something new - Where is Dr smith? that character they use is nothing like him. i would have liked to see the ship landed on the lost planet for a while here and the family doing chore and stuff like they did on the other show or a 1 eyed giant.

Megavid (GQDNRL6K): 02:02:48. I enjoyed Lacey Chabert as Penny when I was younger in this film.. And, then again when she was Gretchen in Mean Girls. This film is a little long. It doesn't take the place of the original "Lost in Space," some of us grew up on, but it's still a decent sci-fi movie. :)

One thing though: the audio track seemed to slow down in the megavid version.. so much that the video was one step ahead of the sound, which is kinda annoying. Stageview was a slow load for US during Friday lunch time.

great movie hadn't seen it in years

This movie has the funniest guy saying douche bag stuff scenes. So funny. Whats his face did an awesome job at being a douche, LOL.

This to me is like a PG version of the event horizion! haha. There's alot of cheesy one liners and the whole story could have been thought about a lot more but I like it anyway. Also love the OST appollo 440 rock! 7/10

Although it did'nt do ell at the theaters, I enjoyed it very much. I would have liked to have seen Johnathan Harris (original Dr. Smith) it was a refreshing take on a serious-gone-ridiculous 60's tv sci-fi.

wow, you'd think william hurt and mimi rogers would have acting down to a "science" by now, but sadly not the case. dry, uninspired performance by both. at least gary oldman is always on top of his game and providing support to make this one worth the watch, if only for him. nice effects, except for monkey atrocity. 6/10 but a 6 for gary, visuals and concept only. suspension of disbelief required, should watch just for entertainment purposes only. i did enjoy it non-the-less.

I watched this movie when it first came out many years ago; I had enjoyed the original Lost in Space TV series when I was a teen. I just finished watching this movie for the "I don't know how many times" and it still makes me feel good; and I loved it as much this time as the first time. Be kind, it is based upon an older series, we are talking 1960's so they had to go off that good old fashioned but terrible special effects, plots etc. It is just great family entertainment. Enjoy. 8.75/10

Whens the Second one Coming out?

I saw this movie years ago when it first came out and I thought it was great. The fact that they have some of the original actors in it was the best, because it was remake I think having the original cast is always important since they made the original what it was and what it meant to us today. Say that five times fast. Some of the graphics use are being used in other shows and I think this movie might have set the grounds for some of those movies and shows to mimic it. So it is worth the look with an open mind that this was made a very long time ago and most of the actors where still new to us. Expect for the seasoned ones that we know and admire. Gary Oldman, who is an amazing actor, Mimi Rogers who doesn't get credit for her work and of course Matt LeBlanc, who everybody knows is Joey on friends. So watch it and enjoy.

my son loves this movie

Such an amazing film. Particularly considering when it was made. The cast works very well together, the effects were spectacular (again, for the production date), and the plot twists are very good the first time through (and still entertaining the 2nd, 3rd, etc.) ... Am I the only one that finds the younger daughters voice to be piercing and almost unbearable at times?

This movie is just different. I liked it better the first time I watched it though 3/5
