They filmed the last two in one shot, but then split them into two films.

Such an amazing concept for a movie. The war between man and machine. A virus, Smith. A Anti-Virus, Neo. The Anti-Virus removes the Virus, creating peace between the man and the machine. Very decent series.

This movie is a milestone for feminism. Apart from that it was Ok though, 8/10

ok lets agree on this , 1st best 2nd worse but steel great , 3d even worse . Matrix was a breakthrough if you like on movies (effects) , i think it be would stupid to add aliens as you suggested so most ppl probably ;p it was a trilogy and i think it was a good one . every sci-fi movie has to do with aliens or ghosts lol.. at least this was different..

Recently finished the Matrix trilogy. Don't know what took me so long to finally watch reloaded & revolutions. I don't know what to say, since i feel the characters have changed a bit. They do not feel as genuine as they were in the first one, there was something powerful about them. I don't know why, feels forced somehow in reloaded, probably due to time lapse between filming. I love movies which are about prophecies. I think they focused on unnecessary things such as sidecharacters instead of the main characters. I feel they could have shed more light upon the story itself, the prophecy and the important persons and the events in the past which were important for the present & future. If interpreting this trilogy correctly it will probably turn out to be a masterpiece, due to the allegorical parabales & symbolic representations. I still have to "melt down" what i just finished. I have mixed feelings about it. there is so much left unsaid!! So much reading between the lines. But revolutions took the idea of matrix to a whole other level, feels there is much more to say and explain. Neo never diappoints 7.5/10

It gets you watching cos its the end to the trilogy, but its not as good as the prequels.

The Matrix 10/10. Reloaded 9/10. This 1 8/10. But all 3 are amzing & should be collected. As far as trilogy 11/10.

I liked this one too!

This is my least favorite one of the franchise but I still thought it was a good watch, I really like the guy who plays Link as he seems to add some comic relief:) Also like the two previous installments the soundtrack is brilliant and so are the visual effects. However those machines that the humans operate seems to be stolen from Aliens, I'm just saying. 6.6/10 Laurence Fishburne gave a good performance as did most of the cast, this installment doesn't have as many cool moments as the previous films as it seemed to focus on War and machines a lot. It's a good watch but it doesn't even touch the other two especially not the first!:/ I had only just realized that the train man is out of the Mad Max movies haha. This franchise seems to have no boundaries because it's so original.
