i loved this movie filled with love and passion death and heart acke its the only movie so far in my favorites list

pretty damn good, not as sappy or melodramatic you figure it would be. very quirky in a dark humor way and dramatic at the right parts without being overwhelming or pretentious,it offbeat, sentimental, romantic and pretty freaky all in the right ways, realistic but also personal, with the characters coping with their place in these events in own flawed but strong and unique ways. There is strength and truth in how these characters live out their fates, especialy Anabelle who faces her fate with a relaxed grace and appreciation and energy and understanding of life, played very well by Mia Wasikowska, who really expressed the character well, you hope you face your fate with as much grace as her. Henry Hooper did well in his role as well, really a good, offbeat film that surprisingly connects with you, check it out.

I am not a fan of romances, but the promise of dark quirkiness intrigued me enough to give it a try, and I tell you I was not disappointed in the least. Absolutely a must see for romance fans and maybe even a few that aren't. A very unique twist on a feel good/sad, lol, tear jerker. Added to my favorites, and that says a lot! 5/5

A friend suggested I check this one out, and I'm glad I did; it's pleasantly suggestive and easy, as it skips over heavy waters. It touches where it's supposed to. 4/5

Oh my God, such an amazing movie. I love it. It was funny at some parts, acary at others, romantic, and gripping, and just put together so lovely. I will def. be sharing this with others, and watching it many times over.

Sound was a bit annoying, but I loved it anyways. So, so beautiful...I cried several times. What I love most is that it gets you thinking, makes you value life a little bit more. We tend to forget how lucky we are to live. Gosh, I'm getting sentimental...well, it is true.

Great offbeat love story, but as other posters have stated, the sound on all current copies as of now are pretty bad.
