This was a wonderful film. It was so touching and so much different then the animated version. It was realistic and the plot makes much more sense. the actors were great and you can feel the emotions they are trying to express. 10/10 for the movie. the song at the end was gorgeous. I love Stefanie Suns's voice.

wow perfect is a great way to describe what a movie this is. i did not want to give it a chance at first because it was in Chinese and only had English subtitles but i'm really glad i did. 10/10 worth every second

Beautiful movie. Much sadder than the animated version, but also much more realistic. The thing that makes this better than the animated version, though, is that it's infinitely more touching.

Love the movie, very unlike the Disney version. & while I'm not Chinese nor do I know much about this legend/fable but it's a breath of fresh air from typical Western movies. There's fighting, a romance, and a beautiful ending in store. Sure... the chick is easily distinguishable as a woman from the rest of the soldiers but once you forget about that part it's all good. But I do look forward to the latest 2011 movie with zhang ziyi!

truly great story and movie! makes me teary at some point but.. how can't they see or notice that she is a girl? she really looks like a girl. should've got someone more.. manlooking. so 7/10
