9/10 Inventive story, great characters, great animation...easily one of my favorite animes!

great movie, underwent a marathon of Hosoda's movies (girl who leapt through time, summer wars, wolf children) and it was my first time seeing all three.. they're all awesome on different levels.

I came close to giving up watching in the beggining, because the pace was slow and it didn't seem interesting, but it all changed in a split second. Amazing film with a great plot and I even shed a few tears.

This movie was super great. It will go down as one of my favorite films. By the way it has nothing to do with "parallel dimesions", it's about the virtual world of the internet. I wanted to cry at one point since it was so moving.

Great movie. And just watch it with the subs, stop complaining. Just my opinion but for me it's just not the same when dubbed, even if I don't understand japanese, the intonations are so important to fully understand, especially with all the cultural differences.

In comparsion to the girl who leapt trough time this was terribly childish. Wich is sad because it had alot of potential. Anyway a good watch, if youre up for alot of forced comedy.

A really interesting anime, which mixes both traditional japan and the modern world. The movie is a blend of a family story (set in the country) and a modern adventure (which takes place in the Internet world of Oz populated with avatars). Funny, captivating, and beautifully animated.

definetely a master piece! the plot is just perfectly amazing! clean music, clean graphics, clean chars... definetely worth watching! I'm starting to love Madhouse soooo much!

And btw, watching with eng subs is much better than the dub.

I enjoyed this a lot. The animation is great, its in English, and the story is interesting. Its worth a watch for anime lovers.

This movie is indescribably perfect! The soundtrack was amazing, the animation was spectacular, and this was the most beautiful and creative plot I've ever seen. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it from beginning to end and its message was so heartwarming that I was crying and laughing. This is definitely the best movie I've ever seen and it's going straight to my favourites. I have to check out more of this director's work. 100/10!
