Outstanding, one of the best movie I've seen in alone time. 10/10

John Cusack does a pretty good job of Poe, in my opinion, even though he looks nothing at all like him. Many inacuracies to real life. The story is better than I thought it would be, however it was a little slow for my taste. Make-up wasn't the greatest in some parts, yet has some decent scenes. Worth a watch. 3.0/5

Woow, what a Thriller! Really happy to see John Cusack playing the leading role. Also very glad the movie stayed true in it's dark shell.

This had a very good story and some good acting from John...But,for some reason it wasn't great..Of course I would rate it as a very good one.

I have always loved the many works written by Poe. It was because of him that my love for reading began and has grown out of control. I thought that this movie was fantastic. To me it was a classical style Poe story with a modern twist. I will definitely be watching this movie again and again. 9/10

slow moving but worth the wait! The entire movie has kind of an eyrie Gothic feel to it from the get-go, any Poe fan will enjoy this :) 7/10 for me (hard score to come by)
