A reminder of the good old days when wrestling was entertaining and competitive, I cant believe the amount of talent back then compared to today its night and day.

great look at the entire history of WCW, the only problems i had with it is that isn't as in depth as i would personally like. that and the over looking of Sting, and the entire Sting vs nWo story that was the whole reason WCW was on top for so long, because of that one storyline, and this overlooks the entire thing.... besides that, great dvd, i recommend buying the dvd for the extras

I got this dvd set at home and as usual WWE did a great job but i can't help it but i have to say it that WWE also left a lot of details out and didn't interview some of the talent that was screwed over by the powerstruggles by WCW overpayed talents and after that by Vince Macmahon when they lost their jobs altho they were the most hard working of all like Loki, Disco Inferno, Perry Saturn to name but a few. But a great insight in the rise of WCW and the madness, financial screw ups and friendpolitics that caused the downfall of WCW. The matches were not that exciting tho...to much Ric Flair and Hogan and to few Cruiserweightsmatches or the 3stages of Hell matches...

A must see by any wrestling fan of modern or past era. Remarkable of how close the small Southern Promotion almost put the big, bad WWE out of business. In hindsight, some of the best wrestling matches and viewership ratings happened in this era of Monday Night War. Being a fan of HBK I always watched RAW every Monday night starting at 9:00 P.M. when it was still being taped, but would catch the first hour of WCW on TNT. 5 out of 5 stars.

from it humble beginnings as a small south regional promotion to a huge corporation, this documentary shows that bigger doesn't necessarily mean better. Interesting from beginning to end and the honesty of those involved was refreshing and remarkable. Definitely a must see for any real wrestling fan.
