Wow! Excellent job of acting by Robert Pattinson! Did not bore me a bit. Have to pay attention and understand what the main objective of the movie is (CAPITALISM)and that money and power does not give you a full life and purpose. I don't understand all the negative comments. Don't be so fast to judge. Maybe watch it again with an open mind and you will understand it!

I think this is Cronenberg's alimony payment, one of those situations where you just toss a bunch of shit at a wall, and call whatever sticks, "art". This one's waaaayyy too deep for me, the anal probing in a moving limo was a nice touch though :D

Simple people will not enjoy the movie. There are few who will even understand what this movie is about. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie from start to finish. A true adaption of eloquence.

This movie isn't that great. His wife must have been a robot or something. He isn't that great of a husband sleeping with other girls. But its just a movie. I wonder if that guy really did pull the trigger.

Amazing how many people rule anything out by someones opinion. Very sad. This film is not a mindless Hollywood movie. I assume all of you ruling this movie out because you saw Robert P. And assumed it was going to be all lovely and Hollywood. Do yourself a favor and see this movie. That is, if you can keep up with it..

worst movie iv ever in my life seen.. but yet i turned it off 20 minutes from the end... i was falling asleep while watching it, it just dragged on and on and nothing was happening........ im not recommending this one!!

Did not understand this movie AT ALL but yet couldn't stop watching until I got to the end. My not understanding this movie doesn't take away from the great acting of RPatt and cast. I am not going to say I would recommend it or not, I would leave that up to the person that want to see it.

Amazing!! Simply amazing! 10/10! What a great movie, had so many aspects. Brilliant! And for those of you who don't understand or hate it, congrats on having an IQ of less than 70. LOL! Pattinson did such a great job, bravo!

I guess I just didn't understand it. I wasn't impressed at all and to me Robert acted the same has he has in every movie. It like he is almost bored and just does his part to get it over with. 4/10

its a total waste of time

This movie is only for the people who are fan of the director's work. If you don't like his style, then you won't like the movie. The casting or the storyline won't change anything to that.

If I wanted to witness an exchange of intellectually stimulating conversation, I would rather watch a debate. Even though this movie was not my cup of tea, I somewhat enjoyed the egomaniac and narcissistic character portrayed by Robert Pattinson.

we all know that Pattinson have done projects better than this..,but its worth it for a boring day.or for a sick lv ..its not that kind of baamm film 2/5

A strange film.

This movie is the epitom of intellectual. It's not for teenage Twilight fans, and certainly not for ones only in favor of action or simply shitty dialogue. This movie speaks about financial and electronic intelligence. The capital power in the hand of one man (Eric) who's literally the master of the financial universe. It has severe depth and even the smartest ones out there won't understand it from just one watch. I watched it twice already and I still struggle at parts. The actors' did a superb job with their roles, each one in his scene even if it was mere minutes. It would be boring for those who simply have no brains to even just sit down and feed their minds with perfectly sharp and brilliant words. Magnificent movie, Cronenberg did tremendous job and Robert proved he's more than just a pretty face a sparkly vampire (How I miss him as Edward:). Hands down, one of the best movies of 2012. My rating is 50/10.

i thought it was good, and him being in the limo ( to those who commented on being in the limo)for most of the movie was him sealing off the rest of the world from himself. there is alot of underlying meaning u just have to pay attention, i could keep going but i dont wanna ruin it for anyone else. if your not gonna try to take the time to understand a movie, go watch a mainstream movie.

This film was a waste of time. What was the point behind it? And why so many dead ends?

The grandiloquent language bored me to tears. All I kept thinking was get to the freaking point! I think this was too big for Pattinson and the direction was not cinematically inclined. However, in perspective, what I got from this was a man with too much money trapped in is own fear of losing it and compromising that fear with purchasing information and sex. Then again the word madness is part of my name, so what the f*@K do I know. :-)

I don't know about this one. The ending really confused me as to the moral of the film. Is it saying people are just jealous of the rich, or is it saying this is what happens when you don't listen to nature, or what? I'm seriously befuddled here.

I liked it.. to me the whole movie is about our need for others to save us.. in one way or the other.. We all want what we think we can't have no matter how much we do have.. We all save one another or kill one another in one way or another..

What was the point of that movie? i don't understand. And i'm still wandering whether his wife was a robot or not haha. she talked like one. ughhhhh so annoying
