This movie should have just stayed in Ireland...

I thought this would be just another Sybil movie. Which is Ok, but you know I'm thinking, Oh boy here we go again. But I'm glad I stuck with it. This movie was excellent. And I very much enjoyed it. I've already said too much. I hate when a review spoils the movie. But I do believe, if you give this one a try you'll enjoy it also. 5 stars

it started really slowly, but did disturb me. worth watching if you can make it over the first hour. oh and now I have to watch an ep. of the brady bunch, so I'll be able to sleep afterwards^^

I thought it was an OK movie. 3/5 But I think that if you want to see a creepy movie dealing with "split personalities" check out this movie called Shelter with Julianne Moore and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. It's excellent!

Excellent thriller physcological movie! The acting, script and storyline were fantastic. I would definitely watch this again!

This is a good movie, a bit slow at first but once it picks up speed you will be very surprised by the ending.

Very good. I recommend it to anyone who likes psychological thrillers. This one had a supernatural twist too! In a nutshell, Dorthy Mills is accused of abusing a baby whilst babysitting; a psychologist is sent from the mainland (Ireland) for an assessment, to decide how to charge her for the courts. The island is very strange and the community tight knit, and as the movie progresses you see the other "sides" of Dorthy... with a good paranormal twist. The psychologist has her work cut out for her, as Dorothy seemingly has multiple personalities.. But why is the island community so secretive? ANd why do they have a hard time letting Dorothy go? You've gotta watch!

Really liked this movie. I was looking for some random thrillers here on letmewatchthis when I came across this in the list and decided to watch it. Great acting and has a few twists I didn't expect.

I wasnt expecting the movie to be all that really.. But it turned out to be a good solid film and well acted. I wouldnt say it was a horror more like a mystery/drama/ghost story not creepy but still well worth watching 8/10 (would have got a 9/10 if it was a little spooky)

The cover art to this film makes it seem more a horror film than what it really is. As for what someone else said regarding it having no correlation to The Exorcist, it kinda did. At the end of the day you're still dealing with a girl who's possessed, though this time not by demons. Personally I enjoyed the film, I love the European use of old world superstition and religion and pitting it against modern science. The ending was a surprise. It's not fast-paced, it's not full of jump-scares or even scares in general but it's twisted in its own way once you start getting to the meat of the story and visually stunning. Worth a watch.

One of the best movies I have seen in a long, long time. The acting is superb, and the story line... just wow. I am so glad I watched this one. Not a scary movie, but a real mind trip. Somewhat reminiscent of Spider (d.cronenberg) although they are not alike in plot, or anything. SOOOOOOOOOOO worth watching! 9.2/10 Excellent piece out of Ireland. Enjoy!
