Called the "Hangover" movie for women, I was very impressed from a guy's perspective. They didn't exploit much of the common bride or women cliches, but instead pushed the limit a bit like the Hangover did. The Fat Chic was CLASSIC! GREAT character! I am sure we will see her a bunch more in future movies much like the bearded guy (Zach Galifianakis) in Hangover took off after his role.

This movie is filled with potential "one liners", unfortunately I will sound stupid saying, "I just need balls in my face!". I will have to modify most of the lines but highly recommend this movie to anyone!

Cute movie. Good "girl" flick. They tried to compare this to the "Hangover" but didn't quite get there. Some funny and unexpected scenes, but dragged a little as well. Could have put a little more into the comedy in my opinion. Would recommend for a Friday girls night in.

this was a real feal good movie ,the start was making me cringe a bit ,lol,its a guys movie too so dont be fooled . the bridesmaid megan was the best in it.it makes you think of your own friends too , plane scene was fantastic.well done to the lead actress .

One of my favorite comedies of 2011. Kristen Wigg is spectacular and hilarious. I have seen this film several times already and still can't get enough of it. It is a great film that is directed to more of a female audience. It's comparable to The Hangover a male directed audience film. This film is a must see!

I love this film as soon as its out on dvd Im going to buy it! So funny and you can relate to the main character completely. The problems she faces and how she reacts its just realistic and that is what people want to watch. It knows its audience and aims at it perfectly

this is one the funniest films i have ever watched! it shows the stress in being a maid of honour! it shows annies struggle in trying to organise her best friends wedding and also trying to impress her fellow bridesmaids! this movie will be enjoyed by both teens and adults...and i guarantee you will be rolling around laughing in your chair!

"The Hangover" for women..No, not even close, for me this is better! Showing that fun, adventure and dilemmas can be had without having to consume large quantities of alcohol and drugs. a fantastic comedy with a quite strong story. A must see for any true comedy fans or for those who just want a good film while the cuddle..4.4/5

I haven't laughed so hard for a long long time. Sure it was raunchy but the beauty of the comedy was not in the bathroom humour (in an very literal sense) but how expectations were constantly overturned. Just when I thought I knew how a scene was going to end the rug was pulled out from under me and I was blindsided. In a funny sort of way it reminded me of 'My Best Friend's Wedding' and the parallels between Julia Robert's character and Kristen Wiig's characters are striking. Both are confronted with a situation where they think they have the power but they learn to grow in another way. And as raunchy as the film is (courtesy of Mr Apatow I'm sure) the film doesn't sacrifice its tenderness for the women and how they feel about their female friends and their potential new boyfriends and their cute puppies!

I thought this movie was funny. There are alot of actors from Saturday night Live in it.
I would watch it again. I like the puke scene (?!)
If you want to see a movie that will take you back to the 80's and gives you a good laugh.... I suggest watching this one.

I thought it would be a lot funnier. The first fifteen minutes had me laughing but the rest of the movie quickly slid into a comedy muddled with the maid of honors difficulties in romance and life transitions. Yes she was a bridesmaid but the whole of the movie could have had the title - Friends still need you after they get married but I guess Bridesmaids was catchier :P. There are a lot funnier things that go on within bridesmaids warfare that could have been tackled in this movie. Enjoyable- yes, but recommended, eh.

This a great movie. Definitely one of my favorites. I've watched it several times already. It'll have you laughing non-stop!! The main character was part of the SNL crew, that just gives you a hint at how funny this movie is. Its more for people in their late teens and older. I recommend it 100%.

I decided to watch this film with my wife. I prefer action, sci-fi, and horror but this film was entertainingly funny. At times I was about to stop watching the movie, but I'm glad I
sat through it. Enjoyable film. I haven't watch a comedic film
like this.

Nothing to do? Want to be entertained? Want to laugh? Then watch Bridesmaids for sure! Really good movie! Very funny and quite entertaining no matter what age you are. It is good to watch with friends, family, boyfriend etc. Definitely a movie you can watch over and over. Would rate this 4/5.

this movie is a waste of time, i had high expectations but it was unfunny did not laugh once through the film, a very predictable, do not bother watching this movie you will be very disapointed, i was really looking forward to watjching this and i feel let down,a perfect case of a new movie lacking any real emotions or storyline, no talent was put into making this movie
