just too slow. just too boring. and in the end, you know no better than in the beginning...

luv space scifi n this wont dissapoint you stunning visuals

You know, I rarely rate a sci-fi movie lower than 2 stars, but this one is a one star for me because of execution. By that I mean they murdered a really good concept and killed off any hint of Tarkovsky's classic. I was hoping for the Hollywood treatment, and instead we only got the reality TV treatment. Slow, boring, and melodramatic, and when something finally does happen, you don't care. This is a *much* better story than the script or the director gives it credit for, and it deserves better than this poor excuse for a movie. Use liberally if you need to get to sleep, or if you are trying to convince someone not to watch sci-fi (who has never seen a good sci-fi movie before).

Weird and not quite understandable for me, but good acting and visuals. Thanks for the upload. 3/5

i'm not kidding either. maybe some married middle aged guy would be focusing on the relationships in this movie between the main characters and comparing them to his own marriage. whereas i'm sitting there focusing on the sci fi aspects trying to figure out if solaris is in our solar system.

maybe its because i wasn't following along as well as i should have. it was hard for me to keep up with this movie. i think i saw this movie differently compared to some guy 47 year old uppper middle class white guy thats been married for twenty years.

um what? I do not get the ending of this movie. Were they on Earth or was it like a dream n they were still on Solaris? And I thought someone human had to dream of the other in order for them to be created? If so, who created him at the end? Its not that I dont get complicated films, I do, but this one was just not my cup of tea I suppose. I love space scifi so I watched the whole thing but honestly it was really slow, thank God for the very small twists there were towards the end or it really would have sucked. Im surprised everyone who commented thought so highly of this? But to each his own, watch it if u want, I personally wouldnt recommend it though. 1.5/5

This could of been alot better....I still liked it but would not watch it again...I like Clooney but he has had way better....This had a lot of potential but oh well one time watch 6/10

Top Movie, Clooney in space; works like a dream. The concept is great and the movie has tension and drama in all the right places. Very stylish and very cool. I cant wait for Clooney's next space adventure in 'Gravity' coming late 2012 ****
