Great action movie....

But an awful movie with rassistic untrue story.

This movie is awful,not based on any cind of truth except the dates. Only bravery your troops shown is in hollywood,in true life you are cowards. P.S. if the idiot storywritter wanted a story based on facts then I can make around 520 movies same like this one,only true. That would be your the pilots us Serbs saved in WW2. Interent wouldnt be the same without you retarded albanians and the rest of the muslims to spill bullshit on great things us christians invented,us Serbs gave the biggest contribution: Tesla - Electric energy we use today :P So suck it,you rassists.

Very good Army movie.

One of the stupidest movies I've had the agony of viewing. Not only does the tv commercial director insult us with photoshoot imagery he makes wilson the biggest target ever and of course he never gets shot. I tried to suspend logic and just enjoy the boring action but the more this movie played out the worse it got. One of the worst I've seen. 1.5/5

A great film, although i see it as more of an awesome action film then war. A great story of survival, and of course, explosions and death.

Dont normally like owen wilson but yet again i have found another movie where he proves he can be a good actor. very enjoyable and not a really war film . more of a film based around a war not bad 4/5

superior movie which just shows how much our military men and women will go thru to preserve freedom and serve justice. I love true stories, and this one is no exception. I do not like that the Admiral lost his command - I understand an order is an order, but one would think an Admiral would be allowed ''special circumstances'' as this certainly was one - after all - do we not adhere to ''no man left behind''...... God bless all of the military men and women world wide who fight with honor and bravery to preserve freedom and eliminate terrorism. 5/5 - especially for Hackman and it being a true story.

Was not a terrible film. I always like Gene Hackman in the role he played. He is always believable. I did like the role Owen Wilson played. I did find it hard to believe that he gone through basically unscratched. 6/10.

Action packed, great actors, high production values, epic propaganda, military recruitment ad, entertaining.

Not a bad movie...it is just so hard for me to see Owen Wilson not doing a comedy. Good story, not bad acting and good sets. 3/5

I really liked this one, Hackman and Wilson did a brilliant job, Im sure, as Its based on true events, that everything didn't fall Into place for the real naval officer like they did for the character In the film, but still a good watch 8/10

Owen Wilson's effort in trying a different role hv 2 b appreciated. Gene Hackman is as great as ever. Overall,it's a great action movie.

Man I just don't get why this got a 37% on Rotten Tomatoes. I'll give this a solid 8 out of 10
