Well this movie just confused me at the beginning then it got worse,, the ending was very lame,,, they could have done a way better job with a story like this. 2/10... Only gets a 2 for me cause it has Elizabeth Olsen in it. :)

I thought this was a amazing this is what the Manson family was like and all those who say this is boring sorry there is not a explosion or cgi effects trying follow emotions once in awhile!!!!

I would rather stick pins in my eyes than sit through this film again.

Great film, bad ending. Which overall made it boring, and not worth it. I was hoping for some kind of climax or showdown, didn't happen. Sucks cuz I really thought it was unique and had substance, just failed at the end. 3/5

Was Up With That Ending, Not A Bad Film, Just Bad End!

Not bad, though I thought it was going to be more of a psychological thriller. Instead it was kind of slow, and didn't really build or go anywhere. Super great idea, but I think it could have been better executed. $5.5/$10.

A major studio would never make a movie like this unless it had teenage vampires or was a 60's television series. Thanks for smaller budget independent movie companies that will go with a subject (like a Charley Manson hippie cult) for more intelligent movie goers.

this is defintely a great watch. it has beautiful cinematography that reminds me of david fincher zodiac even possesing some that chilling , bizarre and unnerving dialogue. Elizabeth olsen is very natural in her role and with John hawkes. However this is a workprint and not the final cut of the film. hopefully we get the final print with the desired ending and credits soon. 4/5
