goood movie 7/10

kind of a scary comedy movie

the one i watched was of poor quality and boring so i gaveup after half an hour

totally rubbish worst film ever they ruined the film 0/0

i hated this movie bad acting and old one is way better

if anybody knows what the 2nd song in the movie is, -Bad, bad ,blood or something like that, please PM me i cant find it anywhere.

Really enjoyed the movie just a little more than the original. However, I rate it a 4/5 which is one point more than I rate the original. Mainly because they were able to do more things to make the Jerry Dandrige vampire character more interesting and the way you would expect a mordern vampire to be. But back when I first watched the original in 1992 about 7 years after it came out I would have also given it a 4/5 too. That jack up smile the girlfriend had in the original before she turn around scared the crap out of me back than and still creeps me out now even when I know it is coming. Hope you enjoy movie and it's definitely going in to my fav list. Later

I loved this movie. It was far from being scary but it was a good movie for being a remake 8/10

Saw this in theaters last night, thought it was pretty good. I haven't seen the original yet so I can't compare them. But this one was really good, the 3D is just getting overly used though.

It probly would of been a better film.If they would of had a better bloodsucker.Colin Farrell is not a vampire actor he is a action junky he would rather shot you then bitting your neck.The old (Fright Night) was 100 better then this CRAP i give in Two Thumbs Down .......They could of found a better actor for the Bloodsucker .............

As someone who is not a huge fan of remakes, this movie was actually pretty good.... Im glad I took a chance on it.... 8/10

Colin Farell is soooooooooooo F***ing hot in this movie, made it really difficult to seem scary. Thought it was ok though.

Brings back good memories of teenage youth.

Being a massive fan of the original, i was excited about this remake, although i was a little bit sceptical, what with all the recent remakes of classic horror films, some good, some not so good, but this for me was 1 of the better 1's, (i thought David Tennant as Peter Vincent was inspired) if you can watch this without comparing it too much with the original & just watch it as a stand-alone horror film, i think you'll enjoy it, i did, version 4 sockshare was the link i watched & it was pretty good, 8/10, Enjoy. :-)

Why didn't they just change the characters and have it be it's own movie with a different name? *sigh* Hollywood has obviously realized that anything they produce these days isn't going to bring in the cash so they have to use ideas that DID work and since there is a vampire craze right now. I wouldn't be surprised if they remade all vampire movies and this was just the first one. Money is money no matter how they make it. Anyway... the movie isn't that bad but, it's not that great either. I can grasp why Jerry was able to eat fruit in both films but, now he can drink beer? Okay... whatever. I had hoped for more Evil Ed scene's because vampire McLovin' was sorta funny. Yes, Chris Sarandon has a little cameo but, whoopee. There is maybe 2-3 chuckle inducing moments but, that's it. The movie is okay for teens but, if you're a older person you'll probably be disappointed. Just stick to the original there was nothing wrong with it in the first place.

Fans of the original may be disappointed that the newer version isn't nearly as campy or funny, nevertheless this was a fast paced, fun little remake with some over the top gore. Loved David Tennant as Peter Vincent. Watch for a cameo from the original Jerry, Chris Sarandon.

I didn't like it at first but it actually turned out to be an ok movie. And I'm not one for the vamp kind...

Worth a watch! Not as good as i expected, liked the original one alot better. 6/10

It was alright, nothing to write home to mom about, but still decent. I wouldn't watch it again or even really suggest it, but good for a boring night. 2.5/5
