Well let me start this with WOW! I usually watch the Anime and the work from Pixar, and the other film CO's that put out "Cartoons" but I'm damn glad I took the time and watched this! The story is incredible, the concept is fresh and new, the art is very good and the acting is well above par. In all this is a movie for all! Especially the kids and family, and even the "Grown Up's" that like a good movie even if it's done in a cartoon. I will plan on buying this when it hits the DVD shelves and plan on watching it a few more times. It just goes to show in this time and age that the concept of an under achiever can do great things if only they try!

Well..Really gr8 movie...brillant story line...encouraging with some lessons for us all and lots of clever humor..bit of a surprise at the end..a sadness turned around to be very powerful...watched a cam copy...alittle dark..but it's for nothing ..so I'm happy..enjoy!!

Well what can i say, dreamworks came to the table to play with this movie. Good story, good graphics, all in all a great family film.My girl loved the night dragon. All the little guys training to fight and kill dragons were funny. Hiccups dad is not to shabby as well, not to bad Mr. Butler. I would suggest this movie to anyone, the 3d version in IMAX is great. Thanks dreamworks for another great film!

A really good movie that is for everyone! It's a sweet story and in the end you will be waiting for the squeal! The Visual Effects are great and the the story is imaginative and creative. It will leave you wanting more. A definite must watch for the warm of heart! 5/5 Enjoy!

The movie was a basic run off of a misunderstanding between two different entities. Again writers use a child to bridge an understanding between the two of them. It's missing some basic points in the fact that no one listens to children so he couldn't have bridged a gap. And the odds of a wild animal becoming tame within a week or two is 0. It's a feel good movie for kids giving them false hope.

This movie tells the story of a misfit viking who is desperate to kill a dragon to prove himself to his people. That is until he actually is presented with the opportunity. He befriends a the wounded dragon and helps it fly. As he learns the dragons secrets the vikings of the village believe that he is a great dragon slayer. When they learn the truth, that he is great friends with the dragon, he is shunned and can only watch as his father and the great warriors of his village set sail in hopes to find the dragon's nest and kill the animals so they never return. The boy is forced to choose between his people and his friends the dragon's. Can he save the dragon's from slaughter?
I loved this movie! It has a lot of action and the characters are great! I'm not very into kid's movies but this movie is well prepared for the whole family. It's funny, and witty, and it will keep you entertained from the opening scene to the very last second. I give this movie 4/5 stars.

I didn't expect much from this movie and I was pleasantly surprised. I liked the animation, the characters, and even the plot. It's a great movie for the family, your kids will enjoy it and so will you. Witty and tastefully humorous. I would definitely watch it again.

I have to say, this was by far one of the coolest movies I've seen these days, with great animated action. The combination of a great story and superb visuals was nothing short of amazing. It was really fun a little bit of a sad ending but in general far beyond good

I think what most people forget sometimes is that movies are meant to entertain and most often, there is not point to the movie, it just makes us all laugh and relax or freak out and scream like crazy (If it's a good horror movie). On the other hand, there are those movies that contain a moral lesson. I believe this movie is one of them (well to be honest, most animation movies do have a sort of lesson they portray). Anyways, back to my point, which overall just says how much I love this movie (love it so much that I plan to buy it soon)

Of course, one of the main reasons I love this movie (Or THE main reason) is because toothless is too adorable for his own good. End of story, watch the movie simply because toothless is adorable. That sounds kinda shallow, but it's the truth! He really is, mostly when he tries to smile. Geezes, I've never laughed so much when it comes to a movie. Furthermore, one does feel sympathy with the characters (hiccup) and it's quite heart warming when things work out for the best. The ending I thought was adorable and fix the movie quite well. Wrapping this review up, I just want to say that everything about this movie is adorable, and it really is for all ages (since I know many adults/old people love this movie. This one is definitely on my top 5 favorite movies of all time (without saying that I don't really know what the other 4 are). Anyways! I could go on and on and on, but I'll reach a point where I'll bore you with all my babbling so I'm stopping myself haha.

Set in the mythical world of burly Vikings and wild dragons, and based on the book by Cressida Cowell, the action comedy tells the story of Hiccup, a Viking teenager who doesn’t exactly fit in with his tribe's longstanding tradition of heroic dragon slayers. Hiccup's world is turned upside down when he encounters a dragon that challenges he and his fellow Vikings to see the world from an entirely different point of view.

This movie is about a teenage viking. He's a misfit, small, witty, and a bit of a smart mouth at times. He doesn't fit in with the rest of the vikings, and has trouble living up to the expectations of the chief, his father. One night, he manages to shoot down a rare dragon, but fails to kill it when he gets the chance. He instead befriends the dragon, and the action takes off from there.
The flying scenes are incredible, the action is epic, the humor is hilarious, and the story line is both classic and original. A movie for anyone! The main character Hiccup is very relate-able. five out of five stars. Bravo Dreamworks! I reccomend this movie to everyone!
