i thought this movie was one of them good musicals. good love story too. ill give this one a 8/10

Spectacular, Spectacular the only two words capable of describing the Moulin Rouge and its marvelous performances.

Holy shit that was weird and boring. The ending was the only good part. Yikes.

This is one of the movies that one thinks there is a great book behind it...I was so sad when I couldn't find any.....I like this movie, the music is just great and the love they shared is wow...worth watching...

I'd forgotten what a good flick this one is. Last time Nicole had red hair. Or looked good. Not the skeleton she looks like nowadays.

Love this movie. One of my most favorite movies of all time. Could definitely watch it over and over again, and sing all the songs. Just a brilliant work, a masterpiece of its time and will continue to be. I give is a full 10/10. A must watch! If you haven't seen it, watch it. You'll love it!

Moulin Rouge is of course a timeless love story at its core, but what this movie is really about is the use of modern pop songs arranged as 19th century troubadour-like musical numbers, and the sly humor such an undertaking implies. It could have gone horribly awry, but strangely, it works, and powerfully. I still get chills watching Ewan MacGregor belt out Elton John's "Your Song", so much so that I prefer his version to the original (sorry, Elton). Great cast, costumes, direction, too, definitely an all-time favorite for me.

Love this film...Entertaining and stunning to look at...Transports you to this magical place...One of those heaving bosom films...Fab

Moulin Rouge is gorgeous, lush and highly entertaining. People tend to be critical of this movie and Baz Luhrmann's style. Yes, it is very decadent! Yes, it is a bit chaotic! But there is a lot of heart poured into this film. Christian (Ewan McGregor) absolutely showers Satine (Nicole Kidman) with love. The musical numbers are uplifting and fun. I can be a cynical person at times, but while I'm watching this I'm an absolute romantic! This movie is the perfect escape. 'Freedom. Beauty. Truth. Love.'

This is the musical that brought back musicals. Excellent score, story, and dance numbers. The stage scene at the end is epic. Ewan McGregor has an amazing voice. John Leguizamo is stellar as Toulouse. This is a film you are going to enjoy over and over.

We watched this in my Theatre class and I had to watch it again! It's such a good story. The soundtrack is super good!

One of the best musicals EVER. Period, this opened my eyes to musicals which I rarely watched at the time. I am still picky with them because they can become cheesy and have little to no plot. But Baz is a genius see this film, period.
