I thought this was really good and the storyline had me hooked pretty much straight away and I wanted to see this one through, I am glad I did. Top marks on all counts, Strong cast, Great story with intrigue and one of the best human/beast transformations since American werewolf in London. If you like horror then this is well worth the watch. 8/10

Not bad. Slow at times, but kept my interest. Worth a one time watch if u like this genra.

Was okay, maybe a one time watch. Not the best storyline and predictable. Didn't really make me care about the characters or what happened to them. Wouldn't watch again. 2/5

This movie got to many kind reviews. It was marly ok, thats the extent of the quality of it, not a waist of time but not worth all the hype.

I thought this was really good. You just have to pay very close attention to understand what is going on sometimes and I actually thought given all the cheesy CGI in most movies that the SFX make up was outstanding, and in such a contrast to the very realistic ritual magick scenes that were VERY believable and very close to accurate in many ways having alot of friends into that sort of thing, and they were impressed, plus things I've read about Irish black magick it all had a cool creepy believability factor. Plus points for originality! 9/10

It's nice to see a bit of originality in a movie instead of the usual hollywood format and this Irish horror movie has just that,it's a story of witchcraft and with some strong acting and an original storyline i'd recommend this movie to all fans of the genre,8/10.

This was a very intriguing movie and if you give it a chance after the first 10 minutes or so it will draw you in. 4 stars.

I really liked this movie! Story line was unique and acting was pretty good. Only problem I had was the way the creature looked, could have been better. For that, I give it a 9/10

Great show,good to see home-spun horror stories getting made.Had to watch the part a couple of times,when James Nesbitt smack's that Scot's hard nut/bully in the gob lol. The film reminded me of some of the rich Irish mythological tales of 'An Sidhé';seduction,magic,legacies,death and the likes in a contemporary setting. Brilliant, hope to see more of the same. Maybe a read of some of those type of tales in the first place would have helped some commentators who felt confused by the story or who didn't like it to understand it better.I got it completely. You need to listen carefully to the bit also when the mother is briefly telling the story to the son near the end,to fully comprehend(in my opinion) who/what James Nesbitt's character really is/was, and I don't mean the blatant one. 4.5/5 from me.

Not bad. I actually enjoyed this movie because it was so different from all the other cookie cutters ones. 7/10

This movie was slow at times. I must say keeps you guessing on what the Beast is, and definitely who the Beast is. Well I give this movie a 4/5. Worth a watch if you stick to it.
