This documentary honestly changed my life. It'll bring you to tears at least once.

The Cove is guerrilla journalism at its best. Structured and paced by director Louie Psihoyos as a thriller/caper movie, it brings audience-grabbing cinematic conventions to work in telling its story of dolphin genocide

I had the opportunity of volunteering at the Bottlenose Dolphin Research Institute in sardinia (Italy) during a few days some summers ago, observing them in the wild you get to understand why they MUST be free, its crazy and sadistic to keep them in captivity, they are WILD animals not pets. Go go go Mr. O´Barry, you have all my respect!

This film is amazing. I have so much respect for Ric O'Barry and his team who risked their lives in order to document what really goes on behind the cove. This movie also had so much information and gave a really amazing argument about why people should care about these creatures and also why Japan needs to stop slaughtering dolphins and whales.

Amazing, sob-inducing film. Very well thought-out, filmed, & executed. I cried for over an hour. My cat thought there was something seriously wrong with me cause I couldn't stop crying. Not for the faint of heart, (VERY graphic) but even if you are, I encourage you to watch this anyway, because this documentary will give you a little true insight into the cruel, selfish nature of the human species.

" its all about respect, not exploitation" soooo wright but sea world and zoo s and circussus they torture and exploit those animals 24 h / 24h they need freedom ,not doing stupid tricks for our entertainment !!! or being touched by 300 people a day with filty hands full of germs they normally never come in contact with (the dolphins). its like free willy . that orka was so depressed its vin was curly and he had a skindisease. bullfighting also really cruel but it still exists, dogfighting made my hope in humanity disepear tottally I saw 8 month pups fighting till the death on video. I cried for hours if I was at the place I would have killed and tortured every person there was.they are crueller then animals their filty lowlife they dont respect life so they dont deserve to live. its all about the money thats what this sad cruel world makes goes around.

This is just...horrible. To kill for the sake of killing? NO reason, dolphins pose no threat to them, their meat is inedible because of their pollution, all so people can have a good day at Seaworld or some other park? Stop killing the dolphins!

I watched this in Environmental Science class for the first time today. It's just disturbing. I was so angry, and what made it worse was that some people in the class weren't even paying any attention. Some were chatting, some were even laughing! The were some girls saying that it was horrible because they were so cute and saying that they were so peaché(sad). That made me royally pissed off. Mostly because, right after they said that, with their damn fucking "awww"'s, they started chatting a laughing with each other like they hadn't even seen it.
