It does explain marketing and how advertising works on the minds of consumers. If anything, this movie does open one's eyes since we live in a consumer based society. Tyler Durden would be proud of the ending. That is the type of society that he would of loved to have seen.

Don't bother...fell asleep. Good intentions with the subject, but awful rhythm, and mediocre acting. One good thing only: Jeffrey Tambor. Overall 3/10. Go and watch Django Unchained, or Zero Dark Thirty instead...

I love a good sci fi. The trailer had gotten me a little excited at first when I saw the DVD link, then disapointed when I watched it, and I did watch it till the very end. Will not watch again. 2/5

The concept was fantastic,,but when marketing monsters started to show up,,,,I was like 'I'm checking out' It felt like this movie had a four hour run time,,,, In my opinion a waste of time, But hopefully someone else likes it, And as always thanks for the link 1/5

I was looking forward to this film and I was disappointed beyond belief. What a complete waste of a film budget. It just seemed disjointed and the pacing was interrupted by the voice over.I was waiting for something great to happen and sadly it did not.

its actually not that bad,about the 58 min mark is when every thing he sees is crazy like'they live'you must check it out... best movie on advertisment ever made and what it does to all countrys,the last 40 min is great,but the build up to it is a little slow but still a must see...the people who just come on and write it sucks,they just dont realize how far advetisment has come,tv magazines billboards internet and so on,anyone over 30 should watch this you will understand.ill probly get BRANDED,for my comments who cares....

I enjoyed the film, and to be honest its something that hasn't been done before without being over the top. Being a former marketing student, the story appealed to me 4/5 thumbs up =D

Ironically, with the focal point of the movie being advertisement, the movie poster stays true to its theme and is depicted in an alluring way so as to catch our attention! Talk about being mislead! I found this movie to be tedious and boring.

This is the greatest and most intellectual movie on how and what shapes society as a whole. Intellectuals will enjoy it while the not so understanding crowd will detest it, great movie and beautiful way in which they portrait the meaning. 4.8/5

This didn't hold together for me at all. Holes in the plot, characters you don't care about, awkward moments where I think the director was trying to be campy, but it didn't work. Erratic pacing, bad editing. So many strange choices. Didn't like anything about this movie, not even the fantasy animation, and certainly not the corny premise. Not Sci-fi - just bad storytelling - and a huge waste of rubles.
