This was brilliant! Absolutly amazing. Much, much better than I expected. At first I wasn't going to watch this, but I am so glad that I decided to! Truly great film, amazing story and acting. A must see.

This is an engrossing film, sad and funny. Perhaps Solomon Perel is ashamed that he lived with the enemy to save his life, but, he is alive today to tell his story. The real Solomon Perel makes a brief appearance at the end.

Was a nice true story but the movie itself was drab and boring and found myself yawning throughout. 9/10-story.....2/10-movie

I thought the movie at times was funny but then at some point it got really sad and your felt bad for him. If this is a true story this kid is lucky, very lucky. Its a good movie.

The comment about the movie being politically incorrect is questionable. However, films based on a person's life have been known to be tainted with the film maker's "artistic liberties." I've seen this film two times and find it intriguing. Imagine how it was for Solomon Perel to live amongst the scum of the earth, fear for his life and use his wits to survive. Great movie!

Great film, sad to think that there were similar situations. The Jews had some tough life choices to make under Hitlers regime. This is a mind blowing story. Great acting,realistic, heart rendering, great cinematography, great directing, everything needed to make a good film Unusual look at the life of one young boy in WW2. 9.5/10

I wasn't really expecting too much from this film but wow, I was surprised.. I really enjoyed it. The main Character was a lucky son of a bitch.

one of the best movies I have ever seen. The story is excellent and I do not doubt there existed similar stories during the WW2. I really recommend it and I would give it 11/10.

Normally you cant be bothered with subtitled films but this wasnt difficult, I barely noticed, it isnt really wordy. Considering its a true story its pretty remarkable.

This was a great film and whilst I personally believe that circumcision is one of the worst forms of child abuse, carried out without medical reason and without consent on children unable to consent and yet its condoned in the name of religion.I have personal experience of people scarred for life because of this barbaric act, unfortunately the film seems to embrace the practice. Having said that the film really was brilliant and well made, and acted. Also opens up all the horrors of war and how the persecution of one sector of society has people following like sheep...still happening today only more subtle. Watch it and learn.

The plot was great, although it was a happy ending, and here i sound, condescending. I must say, there are lots of things mixed in this movie, which is both hopeful, and shameful, of the German Reich. Anyways, 9/10 in my opinion, so its great. Just stick to the youtube version. Its easy though. Thanks and God Bless!!!
