Gwai wik: After writing three best-sellers about love story based on her own experiences, the successful writer Tsui Ting-Yin is without inspiration and having difficulties to write her new novel in the horror genre entitled "Re-cycle". While drafting the text, spooky events happen at her apartment and her former boy-friend of eight years ago visits her, after his divorce, proposing Tsui. When Tsui sees a supernatural long-haired character of her book, she follows him and is trapped in his world of terror. But she is saved by the young Ting-yu, who discloses a secret about her to Tsui. |

it was ok a mix of Japanese horror/Alice in Wonderland (Alice the SyFy version)/MirrorMask and a little Matrix thrown in for good measure and it's in Chinese with subtitles. it was ether crummy translation (i have experienced this many times) and or a not well thought out story line because there are some holes in the story and it over all came of a bit shallow especially when you consider the last bit of revelation. 4/5

seen this in 2006 i have never seen anything like it it is one of those films will never age modern day alice in wonderland story and great visual effects a must see but not for every ones taste i have to say

5/5 awesome story! i don't know how can i missed it before?? great, creepy fairy tale, amazing movie. one thing-i wold like to see remake of this with better special efects and CGI. and absolutely at cinema. thx Arson:)

This is an excellent film. visually astounding, some great scares, awesome surreal and ghostly environments. SFX are simply incredible. the only mild drawbacks are those typical of asian films, the overly emotional angst, and the badly translated subtitles. 9.5/10... In fact I'll be watching this one again at some point.

that was one the strangest movies i've ever seen and a great watch. The only let down was the subtitles being written with very bad english but you knew what they were trying to say

Overall, good movie! (: It was really different, But I'm into movies like this with fantasy, and a little bit of horror. I thought it was very interesting.

love the movie it's a story in which if done in america it would not have gotten people attention but the fact is that Asian movies have advance since the early 80's.This movie was touching and exciting to watch, a must see if you like a good story with meaning...

5/5,been a while since i seen a HK import this good.A blend of fantasy world and terror.Definetly would recommend this one for any import lover=).The description of movie sums it up well.Two cut off thumbs up.
