When Bennie finds his brother, the volatile and melancholy poet Tetro, he is not at all what he expected. From a great director not such a great movie...it's very stylish,mostly in black and white with some good acting and interesting musical score....but the plot becomes too hyperreal towards the end....3/5.

A film about the reunion of two brothers in a dysfunctional family. Stylish and flawless at the beginning, but it gets longish towards the end. The big "secret" (whose father is it ?) turns out to be quite disappointing.

From what I gather,Angie,a.k.a. Tetro,left the family 10 years ago.Their Father, Carlo made a success as a conductor in the symphony. So they went to New York.Tetro is a Poet in Buenos Aires.He*s never going home to New York so he has made his mind up to do his poetry in Buenos Aires.Bennie misses his ship.. so he finds a gig out of his brother house.They both have their take of went on or not during each of they*re childhoods and was actually didn*t take place..Do they ever get close again?A must watch!5/5

It was an alright movie. The acting was good. And I really like the things Cappola does, this had great cinametography. There was just something missing though. Worth a try.
