i really liked this film, it was fun and had some great funny parts, well casted

Hooked me from the start. Probably because I grew up on the music!

another movie trying to make teens out to be wild and wacky but written by adults who cant relate to reality.

This movie was good if you enjoy the 80's music then this movie has some great songs and it is worth the watch

what torture... I love the music, I lived through the rock age and I went to concerts so no I dont hate rock. No one in that movie saved for Mary J Blidge and to a certain degree Tom Cruise and Z Jones had the voice for the songs. Awesome performance by Tom Cruise reminded me forcefully of Axl Rose. Good movie if you want to sing along but not for plot.

i personally liked this movie, its was the cooler version of hairspray.

Looooved this movie :-) But then again I'm a sucker for musicals... I love the actors in it and especial Tom Cruise... Normally i don't like him but he did a great job playing that nutcase :-)

Judge for yourself. Personally I liked the movie. The soundtrack was the best loved the 80's Tom Cruise was funny and Mary J should have been a rock singer in the 80's. 7 out of 10 for screen play but the music 10 out of 10. Would watch again just for the soundtrack.

The director has also directed and choreographed many episodes of Glee. Need I say more. Not a Glee fan.

I think this was the stupidest movie ever ....some of the music was ok ....I can't believe they couldn't find someone better to play the rock star ...Tom wasn't a good choice...........one thumb up

It was fun. I am happy that I didn't spend ten (10) dollars to see it theaters though. Didn't have the strongest start and I found myself almost turning it off a couple of times to move to something else, but I didn't and am happy that I stuck with it. GREAT MUSIC... ROCK WILL NEVER DIE!!!

i used to love these songs but now not so much...it was a train wreck and i watched the whole thing hoping that it would get better....best actor was the baboon.....Tom Cruise as a rock god? so far from believable they should have put Russel Brand as that role at least it would have been a little better...2 hours and 16 minutes i will never get back and im glad that i didnt see it at the movies .....

Great movie/musical! If you don't like musical's you won't like this one. But....the soundtrack will be a great one to grab. Amazing music!

I just saw this tonight at the theatre and it was a FANtastic movie! Cant wait til it's out in english on here and I'm definitely buying the dvd when it comes out! I love the music and the acting was great, really enjoyed ALL of it!
