A thrilling performance. I remember my mother was watching this movie when I was about four or five and I had just caught a climpse of Daisy and her suicide, which shocked me but strangely did not move me so even as a small child. I never grasped how serious and grave the situations of these women were. Now having been diagnosed with a disorder myself, I see the same thing mirrored in the characters the actresses portrayed. I think this is one of Angelina's best portrayals; she is truly, truly talented and you don't need to watch the movies she's done recently to see that. It's all here. Winona always plays the best awkward women-type characters; I don't think there could have been a better person to play Ms. Kaysen. Her autobigography is even more moving. I'm glad I chose to finally watch this.

veryy good film angelina doesnt have to be slinging guns to look bada** throw her in a mental hospital and shes stills amazing! used to watch this on the lifetime channel ;) classic. similar to Gia in drama both good movies with angie as the lead

This was a great movie, take a look at the Actresses - many of them before they became popular were in this movie and they all work amazing in here. This is my Dad's favorite movie, and I have to admit it is definitely top of the line.

Truly an amazing film. The acting was impeccable and the plot was flawless. Now, I must read the book. 5/5 Worth the watch and many more to come.

great movie! i think this was the movie that got Angelina her first Oscar if im not mistaken. Either way she sure as hell played her part in this movie to deserve it!
