Classic movie. Had amazing acting. Really wonderful storyline. I thought this was pretty entertaining. Worth watching.

Wonderful story. One of Kipling's better known, I think. The acting from Connery and Caine is magic. I guess that's what I watch this over and over.

watched this as a child and still love it today though im not a great fan of wooden-top actors such as M.Caine but at least Connery was in it and was probably why i watched it as a child cos i like him as Bond. 7/10

I really liked this film, great actors and Kipling's story is awesome. I particularly like that the screenplay is based on Kipling's novel and not presented in the standard 3-act movie format. I also understand this raised the hackles of some Masons for its portrayal of the Brotherhood.

A classic adventure based on the novel by Rudyard Kipling, well directed by John Huston who gets cracking performances out of Caine and Connery. Its a really nice movie, well worth an evening in. * * * * *

I saw this movie on cinema when i was a kid,i remeber i enjoied it that time.now i know,why after watch it again,cause it`s a masterpiece. always loved John Huston movies 9/10

this is based on a true story about an American named Josiah Harlan, Prince of Ghor and an Englishman named James Brooke, the first White Rajah of Sarawak in Borneo. Kipling did very little as far as coming up with anything on his own.

Classic adventure film, and by far one of the best of the genre! Plot and acting were equally amazing. Very entertaining. It's a must see!
