No wonder this movie drowned in criticism. Criticism by those who did not understand it. Watch this movie and think of it as a whole other story then the one it's actually based on. You might even piss yourself. Great schit.

Burt Young's character needed a good, old fashioned bludgeoning, the sister was annoyingly blatant in her incestousness, and the mom was a complete mental case in serious need of a blunt and a bottle of valium. Great cheesy movie though!

Even though this is the second part, it should have been the first. It's a prequel. I think that's why alot of people like Amityville 2: The Possesion as much or more than The Amityville Horror, I'm one of those people. Amityville 2 just has way more crazy supernatural moments than Amityville 1, making it more entertaining. A true classic! 5/5 Cheers!

lol there is a house that looks like this in thurrock uk. love these films i think this was the best one tho. i got something about possession at the minute.

Fine movie. Not as good as the first one. The acting was good, the story was a little different then the first one. Worth seeing.

This is a very good film! It explains the cause of the hauntings in the first film and is definately worth a watch. 7/10
