The movie was pretty good, I assumed it would be drawn out and boring, because I think most people would say no to the button,(you don't know who it kills, could be a loved one) but along the middle it takes a slight onward curving turn to explain the pretense and gives the film depth, it might throw you of a little like (what does this have to do with it) but the ending does tie it all together, and in my opinion makes it more realistic in theory and practicality than i thought the movie could and would be.....so yeah, ummmmm... I liked it

Sad, but brilliant film. After watching this and several other movies that are generally getting negative comments I think the MPAA should issue a new film rating called HIQ or something, so people with very high IQ's and above average intellect can know ahead of time that the general public and most younger viewers with A.D.D. or simply not life experienced enough to grasp the concepts of this are going to hate it because they aren't going to understand it. This film is not for alot of people, that's for sure. It is, however, classic Sci-Fi perfection and if you can't read between the lines and take in the deeper undertones of a story then don't waste your time. It's not a feel good movie, not an action film, and not sci-fi in the sense of space ships and light sabers. All those have their place and this one has its. Also, if you watched "Donnie Darko" and had no fucking clue what you watched that should tip you off you aren't going to get this movie. Kind of like expecting the general public to get a David Lynch film, it just isn't gonna happen. There is quite a bit of suspense and tension about what is going to happen if/when they push the button, but even the title of the movie has about 5 different meanings. So for what this is supposed to be, is is a 10/10. Not a popcorn movie.

This movie was very interesting and fun to watch unfold, It seems common sense and common deceny have no place in this film or in real life sadly...I give it 8/10

what a great film. i dont expect the mass society to understand this type of dimensional flick. thanks to richard kelly for again creating a repeated viewing gem that even then, leaves you unsure of all the outcomes. this is good cinema, some of the acting is a bit overdone and cheesy but thats pale in comparison to the overall point of the film. if you dont get it, i advise you to dig deeper into your OWN psyche, then you will peel the layers away in this movie. <3

I hate the way this movie ended! Seriously I kinda liked it until they twisted it into a sci-fi. Thats a cop out to end something so thrilling with aliens if you ask me. Wasn't all the way thought out/horribly planned;; COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!!

Good story giving it an 7/10 Cause this wasn't what i expected. And in my eyes the movie is a bit disappointing but it kept me watching. And it's a good 1 time watch.

i liked it, but the water thing made no sense. mrs. diaz does have a horrible accent. how did aliens get involved? the fake crying at the end was funny, but where was the twist in the movie? everyone kept talking about a twist...

Zshare seems to be the best version. But why the hell does this stupid moron keep covering the camera with his hand? The quality was as good as you can expect it to be but pretty much turned to shit after some idiot covered the lense with his hand. The movie was ok. I wouldn't spend $15 to watch it at the cinema, but it's worth a 1 time watch here at letmewatchthis.

The movie was actually rather good, all the negative comments were obviously done by insults to the human race... The plot wasn't hard to follow and the fact people thought it was confusing worries me about our future, it had a very well thought out plot and wasn't that bad of a sci-fi like most sci-fi's there are as of lately. It was a little slow and some of the actors/actresses didn't do as good of a job as they could have and it may have been better as a show not a movie, but never the less it doesn't deserve all the negative feedback it's getting.
