Where has this movie been my life!!! Im only 13 so i couldnt see this in theatres because it came out in 2004 and i was 7 so appropriately i dont think a 7 year old will pass for a 18 year old(THE FILM WAS RATED 18a IN CANADA) I remember renting it on New Years with my Dad in 2004 but we watched the FUNK featurette on the DVD and it was bleeped out but my Dad still thought it was really bad and it is SORT of bad if you dont enjoy the odd cuss here and there or you do not enjoy plenty of gore so my dad turned it off and we watched Anaconda 2(A.K.A Anaconda 2hrs. Of Your Life You Will Not Get Back) and Napoleon Dynamite(WHICH I HATED AND STILL DO). So in 2009 i went to the library with my Dad(NO MY MOM IS NOT DEAD I LIVE WITH HER BECAUSE MY PARENTS ARE DIVORCED BUT MOST OF THE TIME I WATCH THE bad MOVIES WITH MY DAD BECAUSE HE WILL LET ME WATCH ANYTHING and you can take that as a good or a bad thing) and i found Shaun Of The Dead, i loved it, it was funny, scary and a romantic comedy at the same time. The makers describe it as a ROM-COM-ZOM. It is so funny and you will most likely love it. It got me into Hot Fuzz(a B) and every movie that Simon Pegg is in so even if your only 13 like me i am telling you that this movie will change your life!

Even as a comedy sans zombies, “Shaun” works. But zombie fans should definitely realize that this is a comedy, because although the film follows all of the Zombie Rules as established by Romero, these zombies attack when the script calls for it, but has a tendency to take hours to move a few feet when the script requires characters to engage in long, drawn-out conversations in the midst of a zombie attack.

This is THE film. Its so funny and kind of scart at some times. I love the zombies there are cute lol. the storyline is crazy but i like it because its more funny that way. I have watched it about 5 times and i never get bored of it. Its a great comedy/horror movie.

It was very very brilliant like the the actor Simon Pegg and nick frost they were very funny I liked the bit were they hit one of the zombie's they had to walk like a zombie

I would watch it over and over again give it 10/10

This "rom zom com" (romantic zombie comedy) follows the bloody funny adventures of underachiever Shaun (Pegg) and his best mate Ed (Frost) as they cope with a zombie invasion of North London and attempt to rescue Shaun's girlfriend Liz (Ashfield) and his Mum (Wilton). It's going to be one hell of a weekend.

This movie is well worth the watch when you're undecided about whether to watch a comedy or a zombie flick. These guys Are the same guys in Paul, Run Fat Boy Run, Hot Fuzz, etc and do just as well in anything they do. If you liked any of their other movies, you'll love this one too. Its another smart, funny, zombie movie; similar to ZombieLand.

Gotta LOVE this movie. So ok there is tons of profanity. (DO NOT LET KIDS WATCH THIS) The actors, the extras, the make-up, the costumes, etc is just perfect. Just wish there was franchise. Should've picked right back up from where Ed escapes from the shed and reeks havoc all over again. I think I'm going to start a petition.

Not since the Evil Dead series have you been able to laugh and fall in love with the lead in a zombie film! Shaun of the Dead offers a great combination of profanity, head lopping, screaming, heiroism and need I say zombies. It keeps you glued to the tube. ZOMBIES!

I've seen just about every zombie movie ever made and this is definitely the best one. I haven't laughed so hysterically, or been so startled during a movie in years. This movie is both extremely funny and very scary. There were times when the entire theater erupted into hysterical laughter and others when just about every person was scared to the point of being vocal, i.e. screaming or yelling. Beyond the laughs and frights the movie also had a good bit of social commentary on a number of subjects.
