I don't think Western Society has decayed to the point this film is trying to convey. If it has, everyone who has watched it would love it and think nothing of the horrors in it. We don't think money is everything, we believe there are limits to behaviors in even a "free" society, and we believe the atrocities of war has lasting effects on everybody. I think the negative reaction to this horrific movie is good. It is a "dark comedy" at its worst. Let us thank God (or whatever we believe) it is only that--a dark comedy.

ohhhh, now that's just pure NASTY! LOL the ending( was expecting that) We had to watch this film for our film class... but i was ill that day... and i am very glad that i missed it! HAving watched it now, i can honestly say, that japan has better movies that this thing! 0/10 ... why did they ever create something like that?

It is lacking. I was compelled to stop watching after 30 mins. The plot made little sense and lacked complexity. The cinematography was uninspired. The acting did not seem credible at all. I fell no purity in emotion emanating from aforementioned avenues that will lead me to believe that it was love even in the vaguest of definitions of the word. There was a great deal of graphic sex but that is not all that makes a film in my opinion.
